I've been envisioning this for a while now, and this 25th anniversary project would be the best place too pull it off, although it might be a bit too much work for a two year project, hehe...
If memory serves, we know Peter Laird likes Dimension Hopping stories. We know he owns all the characters from previous TMNT Universes. Movie, 1987 Toon, Archie, etc. Wouldn't it be great too have one movie, probably Direct to DVD, that re-unites all these characters in one huge adventure?
I picture it like this. It starts off with Cody and Donatello 1987 toon modifying their respective devices (Time Window, Portal) for some big event. Something goes wrong, a huge power surge or something, and they both lock onto each other somehow and the Turtles from all across the multiverse get sucked in to each others universes...
The Movie Turtles go to Mirage Continuity. 2K3 turtles go too 1987 Continuity complete with a Shredder and Krang new adventure... The 1987 Turtles go too 2003 continuity, with a Shredder Utrom and Karai battle... The Fast Forward Turtles windw up in Movie Continuity....
Somehow Cody is left in the future, and he has to go too 1987 Dons workshop to fix that portal, while someone stays too work on his time window. It would take allot of work to get it all done, but if all the turtle cast voice actors where re-united, it'd be a very cool thank you for the fans...at least I'd think at least :)..
