Wow thats awesome! Thanks. These show premire in August right? Episode 140 and 141 sound the most interesting to me. :D

In ep. 140, I wonder if all the clones become good besides "fake Leo"? Did anyone else notice how in the last episode with the clones, fake Leo notices his arms changing and was bothered? Maybe their bodies are breaking down!!!

Ah, so The Cosmic Completist is not part one of The Day of Awakening, but a seperate story by itself. I hope Day of Awakening will still somehow manage to be epic despite only being 1 part.

I'm starting to doubt Zixxth Sense will wrap up the series, so hopefully whatever reboot they do will bring the turtles home in the opening ep.

Agreed. I mean an assualt on a moon base only taking one episode? Sounds pretty anticlimatic to me. Hell, the assault on Shredder's skyscraper took three episodes.

Hmm, Head of State. They're not laying it thick now are they? I mean sure Bishop is the first thing that comes to mind but as to second. I do hope who I think it is.

I'm assuming Baxter....but who knows.

Wonder what Zixx's angle is in the "season" finale?

Term used very loosely... Since the last six eps won't premiere until next season, and it's highly unlikely that they will end that season with just six new eps, I think it would more accurately be called a sub-series finale. But, going by production seasons, you've got it right.

Ever get an insignificant thought in your head that you just think other people might be interested in? I think that accounts for the majority of my posts. :embarass:

How do you know that last episode isn't the 2nd part with a different name?

So is the rest of FF going to be on that DVD in September?

Um spit Go Here (http://www.amazon.com/Teenage-Mutant-Ninja-Turtles-Awakening/dp/B000OYCKOQ/ref=sr_1_7/103-9902061-0555860?ie=UTF8&s=dvd&qid=1184288928&sr=1-7)
The release date says Aug. 7th And yes I'd think they would be unless they plan to throw some things together quickly and toss out some more episodes.

I liked "Race for Glory" cuz of it's connection to "Across the Universe".

I loved "Head of State" cuz Baxter finally gets recognition! You just KNOW they're gonna make action figures of the organic Mousers!

Actuly they aren't we havent seen any of those new Fast Forward toys yet and I wouldn't hold my breath waiting to see them either.
Murphys working hard to try to get them released but Playmates as usual are not working hand in hand with the mirage staff.

I don't get Playmates, they spend time, money, and resources making the prototypes that are basically the entire toy as it would be if it were sold in stores and then they never mass produce it.

I agree but you have to think about how much it costs them to produce all of those in a mass quantity.
The boxs, the plastics, the paint, the shipping, getting stores to sell it all.
I'm sure it all must be rather annoying.
I do keep bugging Dan about the issue of these figures not being released though...I'd really hate to see an entire line have the same fate as the character in my icon.:ohwell:

Well, I just finished watching the rest of FF. Uh, I caught them on the "tube"...

...;)

138 - Race for Glory
This sucked. Connection to Race for Glory or not. So many things didn't make any sense. The whole race was flat out stupid. Then Triple Threat, not any better than his previous appearances. The property value joke was the highlight of the episode for me.
139 - Head of State
I was disappointed here too. It was an okay episode, but things were wrapped up way too quickly. Bishop's switchover was believable since he stated it took him awhile to change. Baxter's switchover was way too sudden. Plus, he probably should have been far more insane. C'mon, he was mutated and trapped in an underground lab for 50 years and one kind act undoes all of that damage? Could have been so much better.
140 - Dna Is Thicker Than Water
This one was great. No sudden change of character. Finally the Dark Turtles were given some depth. It actually makes me pretty sad/mad that there weren't more episodes dealing with them in a way like this.

Of course, once we get a plot line worth continuing the series gets canned...:dead:
141 - The Cosmic Completist
I wasn't expecting this one to be good. The jokes about collectors were pretty thick, but the episode actually wasn't bad. It was really goofy, but I didn't mind too much. The ending struck a more serious note and felt like a natural way to wrap up the Inuwashi Gunjin plot line.
142 - The Day Of Awakening
A good but not great episode. I never felt Sho'kanabo was good villain, so I'm glad that it looks like they actually killed him off for good. I'm more neutral about Viral, but she was never utilized to her full potential, so no huge loss there either.

I think the reason this episode worked was because they never were able to develop him into the menacing villain they probably intended him to be. That failure actually made his quick defeat far more believable and acceptable.
143 - The Zixxth Sense
Well, I'm glad that Zixx wasn't able to dupe Don like all the others. An okay episode, it left me wondering where they were going with Zixx as a character. It wasn't bad, but this episode didn't really accomplish much.

All said, not too bad, but overall FF felt like a whole lot of missed potential.

You can blame the whiney fans who have no patients on the death of a show & characters that had allot of potential.

After seeing 'DNA is thicker than water', I was a tad disappointed it hardly went anywhere. Seeing as these were the last episodes of the series, the Dark Turtles should have turned good already. Leaving it like this only leaves you wanting more of the Dark Turtles, and now we know we won't anymore.

Ah I love having On Demand. :D

DNA Is Thicker Than Water:

This was an interesting ep. Dark Leo tried to infiltrate the turtles by pretending to be good. In the end tho, while he did turn back to the evil ways he did learn how to share and will probably treat his brothers with more respect. Dark Leo seems to be a rather conflicted turtle. Perhaps he CAN turn good, he seems to be on the path at least. Someday he might become the frog instead of the Scorpion.

Cosmic Completist
Another interesting ep. It was cool to see the Inuwashi Gungin again. Altho this ep reminded me more of the Superman TAS ep that introduced Lobo. An ep in which this alien collected the last members of alien races (including a Dodo). But in this case he was collecting warriors for a bit of an odd "action figure collection". Those Pikachu look-a-likes, the Poke (or was it Doke? ) Pals, were just weird. Thankfully they didn't have any electric powers. Still...Pokemon in TMNT.

Mikey's action figure collection seemed to consist of Marvel (Aracno-Lad aka Spider-Man) and DC (Cyborg) characters but in the background you can definatly see TMNT figures (Dark Turtles, FF Turtles, and Serling)

The Day of Awakening

Wait what? That's it??? Viral and Sh'Okanabo are destroyed in one ep?! I would have expected it to be in a 2 parter at least! Come on! That was disapointing. Sh'Okanabo's end was a bit anti-climactic. He swallowed a light bomb and went boom. Viral was simply destroyed by an anti-virus. Yeesh. :ohwell:

The Zixxth Sense

If this is the series finale it ended oddly. The turtles didn't get home but at least Zixx got his come-upins when the turtles tricked him for once. This was a funny ep at least with the quotes.

As for the so called Lobster aliens...I still think that despite what everyone was saying, they looked more like Crayfish! :ohwell:

But man! Those quotes!!

Zixx: "My ship was confiscated after an unfortunate incident with the Utrom Ambassador's wife.."
Turtles:"....."
Zixx: "What? Is it my fault she was standing next to the sushi bar??"

Mikey: "Can't spell Zixx without a double cross!"

Raph: "Try rebooting it!!"
Mike: "Use a hair pin!"
Raph: "Where are we gonna get a hair pin?! We don't have any hair!"
Mikey: "We don't have any boots either, smarty pants!"

So I got a chance to see "Head of State", did anyone notice when Bishop's car crashed, it crashed in the park that the TMNT came out of when they first arrived into the future? If so, would that be implying Baxter's lair is very close to the TMNT?

Sounds like "Spider-Man Unlimited" all over again.

For those who have seen the episode "DNA is Thicker That Water", I'm sure you all noticed

when Serling screams, "A fifth turtle! I need to lie down" or something like that. I enjoyed the reference, if it indeed was a reference to our beloved Venus. I heard it and it made me smile.

Unlike Spider-Man Unlimited, FF tied up almost every plot detail except sending them home.

You know what's ironic? WB were clever enough to return Clark to the present at the conclusion of Legion of Super-Heroes in case they were'nt renewed, which they were.

I do hope they make it home. Otherwise, the superb 2k3 toon would be transformed into another silly incarnation. A la 1987 toon (which was fine) or a la TNM (which was not).

It was well-known that it would turn out that way when we got the press-release before the show started. It was credited as "26 standalone episodes".
Unlike Spider-Man Unlimited, FF tied up almost every plot detail except sending them home.
And, Dunn still being at large. That's the biggest issue they could leave unresolved what with the equivalent threat of Sh'Okanabo being dealt with.

That's the way the show was intended to be it was said in the statement about Fast Forward from the start that each episode would be stand alone.
Which while they are all stand alone episodes many if not all episodes have a continuing storyline.

I reall do love when people don't pay attention to things I say a millions times over again. Now pay close attention everyone because this is the last time I'm doing to say it and here it's going to be underlined and in bold print.
MIRAGE HAS STATED TO ME PERSONALLY THAT THERE WILL INDEED BE AN ENDING TO FAST FORWARD. WE HAVE ALSO BEEN TOLD THAT THEY WILL BE RETURNING TO THE PRESENT DAY AT THE BEGINING OF THE NEW SHOW.
Get it? Good I hope so.

I think it was the idea of a 5th one in general it's not just a reference to Venus the idea of a 5th lost turtle is something thats been tossed around for years.

Unlike Spider-Man Unlimited, FF tied up almost every plot detail except sending them home.
Exactly let's see Jammerhead & Tripple Threat are in jail, Sh'okanabo & Viral are dead. The Dark Tmnt are changing and learning with the thanks of Leo.
Zixx is sort of a pointless character so he doesn't really matter at all.
Darrius Dunn is pretty much no threat at all at this point.
What does that leave the Triceraton crime boss Zooko (sp) That race of aliens who where after the triceratons, and the turtles getting back home which we know is going to happen like I stated above.

odupianist

Jammerhead and TT could technically still get out. Sh'okie and Viral are definitely caput as I see it as well. Dark TMNT are on the fence I think. They're like Nano in my opinion now. Zixx is such an ambigious character. He could be, but it won't make much of a season out of it. I think Darius could still be a problem, but who knows. Zuko (sp?) won't be a problem once the TMNT are gone, he just wnated revenge I thought.

Can't wait to see all these new episodes, they sound sweet. Thanks to all for putting up spoilers. :D

As to the new "villian" for FF, my guess would be they'll meet up with the new Foot clan and their leader will be Karai's descendant who assumes the role of Shredder?! Well anyhoo, I hope they won't be corny and silly. It would fit they style of the new TMNT.

Nobody listens to you, huh? I guess I didn't say this exact same thing an hour earlier in this particular thread.

Right. But, hadn't you said they plan to do it all in the first episode of next season? That's the only thing that bothers me.
Darrius Dunn is pretty much no threat at all at this point.
Not necessarily. As far as the audience has been told, the peacekeepers don't even know that Dunn tried to kill Cody or was into illegal arms trade. So, Dunn may have just retired and went on a vacation as far as Biggles knows. All we know for sure is that O'Neil Tech needed a new CEO. The rest is uncertain.
Zuko (sp?) won't be a problem once the TMNT are gone, he just wnated revenge I thought.
Revenge for what though? I never caught that. Just for taking one of his (I'm sure, 'many') suppliers out of the picture?

Ninjinister
07-17-2007, 10:57 PM
One thread that I would have loved to be tied up was Cody's parents. Who were they? Were either or both of them fighters as well? Were they aware of Casey and April's involvement with the TMNT? And how did they die? They keep hinting that there was something between them and Darius (Cody yells that they trusted him and Dunn replies that they were as naive as he). Does this mean he had something to do with their demise?

And Zukko wants revenge for the Turtles making an ass out of him. Twice.

ZariusTwo
07-17-2007, 11:02 PM
Both those plot points need nothing furtherd, one was implied enough for the audience to get, and Zukko is'nt even a real factor.

Why does every little concrete detail have to be explained? It was a s*itty standalone season with a few bright spots in between, it's not "Deathly Hallows", let it be
