Another message board was doing this, where people just post some pretty good places to go for any sort of art tutorials.
This one is pretty amazing, me thinks!

Hey!! That's pretty cool! Say HT, do you know of any other tutorial websites for someone who's just beginning to draw (like myself)? :)
Ooh, cool. I'll post a few sites tomorrow, I have very little time right now...

art tutorials would be a nice gesture, thanks for the links HT...hope you find them Kali
Ahh, now that I have practically unlimited computer time, here's the list of tutorials from my bookmarks. These are the ones I found while searching that were worth saving to refer back to, in my opinion.
F.A.R.P. http://elfwood.lysator.liu.se/farp/index.html - A huge project with tutorials on just about any subject, from art, writing, misc, and even selling and publishing your stuff.
PolyKarbon - http://www.polykarbon.com/tutorials/index.htm - It focuses on the Manga/Anime style, but the basics are solid.
For offline references, I recommend anything by Christopher Hart, he has a wide array of how to draw books, and I highly recommend his "Human Anatomy Made Amazingly Easy". His How to Draw Comics books are good too, even if you aren't interested in doing comics.
Funny, a long time ago there was a discussion on a "How to Draw TMNT" fan project, similar to FARP, but a lot smaller, and focusing on TMNT.

Ooooh!!! That FARP website is going to be very useful! And PolyKarbon really breaks everything into simple steps. Me likes... Thank you, Kali! :D
Yeah, I remember that we were gonna have an art tutorial here at the Technodrome, but the idea fizzled out. Man, that was way back in the day... heh. :goofygri:

LOL! Actually, the request for a TMNT art tutorial came up about a month after I first joined the forums. So technically, that was almost a whole year ago. :teek:
*feels old*
Anyway, I still think it's a good idea. And with many more members around, perhaps this idea will finally see the light of day. From what I recall, both Kali and Machias volunteered to help create the tutorial. I'll go post this in the Suggestions forum and see what feedback it'll generate. :)
Yes, okay, so we have a new Drawing TMNT tutorial thread here:
http://www.thetechnodrome.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=2325
Go there and you can help us decide what to put in the tutorial. Of course there will be the basic How to draw TMNT, but maybe someone wants to know more about how to draw their feet, or shells, or how to make Shredder's armor shiney.

Mmm. yeah, I was thinking about adding something to the TMNT Tutorials too. Yah, i got a couple tricks of my own for the tough areas. I also like that PolyKarbon site. Very cool info!
But if it's not obvious, my main focus is on improving my CG skills. Here's the thread I've been getting some Tutorial sites from (though, most are for 3D art). If you guys want to learn how to CG shiney armor, or how to draw it, Transformer and like mech sites are very helpful Even just looking at other people art give you a pretty good idea too. http://www.2005boards.com/showthread.php?s=&threadid=2298
