Um..... if Fast Forward is only 100 years in the future.... then where are the Turtles of THAT timeline? Surely they can live over 115... Most other forms of turtle media have them living way over 100, so did they just forget or they didn't want 8 turtles running around all at once (12 if you count the Dark Turtles). They musta moved out of New York if Cody and President Bishop didn't know they were still around. What do you think of this? whoops??

I think that in the cartoon series they die younger then they do in other mediums. I honestly assume their dead by then because if they weren't then Cody would most certainly met them already.

Cody would have definitely said something if the Turtles was still alive in his timeline, so either they have shorter lifespans in this universe....or the TMNT meet some horrible end at some point to a villain in the past. :o

Just because someone has the ability to live 100 years doesn't make it so. 3 of my high school classmates passed away before graduating, RIP. There could be any number of explantations. Of course, FF is also rediculous so it may be as easy as "just because."

Well, Cody already stated at the end of "The Journal" that he knows how their story ends, and the Turtles are going to love it. So, being the only trustworthy part of that episode, that suggests to me that they go out in a blaze of glory, saving lives I'd imagine.

So you suggest that Cody's met them before. If that's the case then why would he act so surprised to see them? Darius would most certainly know who they were already as well cause he uses Serling to spy on Cody and Cody never leaves the house really*And the Time Portal was built at his house not O'Neil Tech*

I am 99% sure they are dead. Them being alive would have been mentioned already if it were true. But tthere is the chance that the writers planned for them to appear in ff season 2 so who knows.

But, seriously, they appear to be taking the predestined approach to time in this series. I have a good reason to believe that, but it escapes me at the moment. :embarass: Anyway, their version of time is one based on intelligent design (ala Lord Simultaneous, Renet, Laird and his crew).

I think the TMNT are alive, but they've stayed low key. Not sure why though with all the aliens and such. Bishop seemed interested that they "made it to the future" (wasn't that his line when he first saw them in FF?). Maybe they've gotten in to the time travelling hobby and while the 2k3 TMNT are in 2105, the 2105 TMNT are elsewhere in the space time continuum? Who knows. Either way, I think they're alive.

They return to their present time at the end of fast forward. We know because we learn it in the journal. So if they return to the time they left, it would seem as if no time passed.

Oh, thanks! This was my reason for thinking that they're taking the destiny approach to time in Fast Forward. Supposedly Donatello played a part in creating O'Neil Tech, yet he hasn't lived through that yet. So, while this Star Trek view of time seems more believable (mirrors my own theories of time even though I don't watch Star Trek as a rule), that's apparently not how it works in this franchise. Were that how it works, Cody would have figured, "Oh, so that's why they disappeared ninety-nine years ago!", or the future would start slowly changing to erase the turtles achievments from beyond the point in time Cody accidentally zapped them out of (ala Back to the Future). But, they already set it up in "Time Travails" that it's an intelligent (if you want to call it that) design scenario.

They should sequelize it twice in that season. The second would be "Dynasty Turtles 2: Dynastier". And, the third will be "Live Free or Dynasty" (since "With Avengeance" makes a lousy pun). ^_^

I think the old TMNT would be still alive in Cody's time, but as to why Cody hasn't met the old TMNT yet, um, I'd put that down to one of those time paradoxes - y'know the old "I met you but you haven't met me yet because your future is my past or vice versa" kinds of things.

There's no proof to suggest that they live that long like they do in the comics. I mean the future turtles in "SAINW" were pretty weak and got killed rather fast in battle and they were probably around like 55 or so because they said Don had been gone for 30 years and their 15 in present time. So if their that weak when their 55 or older then they could be finished off easily. That or maybe when they get older their mutation starts to go with them and break down their bodies.

The only other thing I can think of is when they get to be a certain age*Or maybe when April and Casey die*And most likely Splinter as well** The turtles go to live in the Battle Nexus. Or one of the alternate realities*Maybe Usagi's* Because their world had nothing left to offer them. Or they go live with the Ninja Tribunal.
