View Full Version : Another question on Fast Forward....

Why are all the bad guys so.... weak??? I mean, the Dark Turtles for example are like almost twice the size of the original turtles in muscle and bulkiness, and yet the TMNT can kick their shells without hardly a problem (cept when they had no weapons).
And in Day of Awakening, they kicked Sh'Okanabo's ass way too easily.... well, just like any other episode he was ever in.
It just seems the bad guys in TMNT FF hardly ever face a challenge and barely give the TMNT any actual trouble. Sure, scheming stuff and possessing people is one thing, but when the plan gets ruined and it's time to put up your hands and actually fight, the bad guys just seem so totally unmatched when facing the turtles.

Perhaps their existing strength combined with the breather/gravity thingies they wear (forget what they are called). These devices might have a different effect on the Turtles compared to other terran or alien species.

Um because the turtles usually win unless it's one of those rare oh no the bad guys are gonna win but in the end the turtles get away anyways sort of episodes that have been going on since the 80's.
The odds are always in the Turtles' favor too.

well I mean in the 2k3 show, the turtles get knocked out and pretty much smacked around every time they face Shredder, Karai, Bishop, etc.
In Fast Forward, the turtles basically mop the floor with their supposed bigger stronger evil clones, Sh'Okanabo, Triple Threat and whoever else they face.

Well if I remember correctly Shoako kicked the crap out of all the turtles the first time he met them and Cody had to save them. Also most of the time in FF it's all four turtles against one guy of course the guys going to get his ass kicked.
The only person I can see who does what you said is Bishop but he's a certified bad ass so of course he can kick the crap out of all four turtles, Hun, and Karai. And Rat King did that as well but I don't think we'll ever see him again.
Honestly when doesn't the hero win? It's very rare and I can't name a TMNT episode where the turtles didn't win or get away so your points pretty invalid seems like your just looking for reasons to dislike FF like everyone else. To be honest it's getting old. The shows not that bad and because you guys cried about it now it's getting canned and that's pretty sad because it was starting to get really good.
Patience is a virtue that none of you seem to understand.

Naw, I may not be FF's number 1 fan, but I still liked certain episodes. I also wanted to see Space Usagi in it. I was just disappointed that Sh'Okanabo got such an easy end and the Dark Turtles were such wimps despite their size. I dunno, I guess the show needed a few 2-part episodes.

I for one really enjoyed FF. I think it got a bad rap.

Are you familiar with the logic of old westerns? That "Injuns" shooting a million arrows at a cowboy can miss him completely... yet said cowboy can shoot one bullet and they all get killed? Hero logic. I mean, certain things, like DBZ the hero is at least on the ropes and in danger of losing... but in most shows, the villains, no matter how giant, muscular, powerfuil they are, the hero always kicks their butts without breaking too much of a sweat.
It just seems the bad guys in TMNT FF hardly ever face a challenge and barely give the TMNT any actual trouble. I guess it's to limit the peril of the heroes... I will to my deathbed say that TMNT FF's toned down attitude came out of the complaints from Nightmare Recycled and Insane in the Membrain being too intense. If they don't seem like their in real danger, little kids don't get scared... but older kids and us toon watching 18-30 group get bored very easily....
But then again, the younger kids can get mommy to buy them toys.

I agree but they were forced to wrap it up quick because their canning it and it won't get it's 2nd season like it was supposed to. I bet you anything The Day Of Awakening was ment to be a season finale with a cliff hanger.
