I think Raph would drink Code Red.

I have no idea what the turtles would like to drink. If I had to guess, I'd say that Donatello likes coffee, since he's always working on inventions or reading, and he's got to stay up somehow. I see Leonardo being a tea person, since he's often very calm and he likes to meditate. Tea can be very relaxing, so that's my logic for Leo. For Raph, I can see him drinking something strong, like Red Bull, since he's got that "tough turtle" image. And finally, I could see Michaelangelo drinking something that's wild and out of the ordinary. First thing that comes to mind is a tropical drink of some sorts, like a Pina Colada with a little umbrella in it.
Wow, I think I over analyzed this topic....
*passes out*

I could see Raph downing a bottle of Jack Daniels or Mike drinking a Hawaiian drink. Tea suits splinter, coffee does for Donatello too since in the cartoon intro he tries to make a machine for it.
I've heard that Don drinks Dew. I think, I've heard a few people mention it, so I think there was an actual moment in a comic or something. Do you know, HT?

Hmm....a hidden advertisement for Mountain Dew in a comic book? Sounds like a scandal

Personally I picture Mike in the kitchen whipping up fruit smoothies with a blender.
But maybe thats because I just made one and it was WONDERFUL!

Oh yeah, Don's actually been sited in drinking Mt. Dew. In early Mirage #11, in that one panel where he's looking out the attic window, the can of soda-pop on the table is indeed a Mt. Dew can. How do I know? I've also seen the color version of that ish.
In another issue that Michael Dooney did, Don and Raph were drinking Jolt while playing scrabble. Yes dudes, high caffeine is the name of the game!

HorseTechie, you are very wise in the comic book category. Have you collected a lot of the TMNT comics? I'm curious, since your knowledge seems to be very vast. I wish to attain this sort of knowledge someday. Then I'd be the hippest dude on this side of the country! Woohoo!

Back to the soda subject...The guys are apparently drinking Diet Pepsi in Mirage #12. Mike asks if its cold.

I don't think I'd ever pick up these small details. I guess I should read comics a little more closely...
I miss the details, too. I have to go back and read #11, and see if I can tell the can's a Mt. Dew in b/w.

I only noticed because of this discussion and the fact that I just bought it today. Its something that I'd normally not pay attention to.
Yeah, sometimes details just hit you like that. Like the anchovie thing.

I miss details until someone points them out to me. After visiting the cartoon bloopers section of Vegita-San's website, I would've never noticed five ninja turtles running around the roof of a building. That blooper took place in the very first TMNT cartoon video. Someone made a big mistake during that scene
You know, I was told about that, and have the video, but I never saw it. Maybe I have to look again. Bloopers are funny, but once I see them, I can't watch the scene again without noticing it! Like in the first movie, when Don's skateboarding to go wait with Mike for the pizza, you can see the arm of the stunt man. He's only wearing the bottom of the costume!

Woah, I never knew that. Perhaps I'll watch the movie again. I would only mind bloopers if I noticed them the first time I watch a movie. Otherwise, I don't mind finding them, since the first viewing is always the most important (and this may sound stupid) and magical
And in the beginning, when we first see the Turtles, Mike, Leo, and Don's actors aren't wearing the legs of their costumes. There was a site that listed all these bloopers, but I don't have the address anymore.

I really want to watch the movie again, now that you've mentioned all of these bloopers! I watched on Saturday, but that was for the nostalgia.
I watched on Saturday because my family members were hogging the computer. It's okay though, got lots of drawing and painting and writing done. I have more TMNT tapes than non-TMNT tapes!

That's gotta be quite a collection!
I'm glad you got some of your work done. Then you don't have to worry about *shudder* paper cuts from the giant tower of unfinished fanfics.
Oy, you wouldn't believe how much I have left still. I guess that's what I get for being super creative and imaginative and all that.
I have *counts on finger* 3, 5, 5. I think that's 13 TMNT tapes.
azure turtle
02-21-2002, 12:07 AM
Hmm...I think I have....*gets some scratch paper* eight TMNT tapes! Woah, I've got a long ways to go if I want to complete my collection
Yeah. *quick math in head* I have the three movies. On nine of the tapes I have twenty seven cartoon episodes. On the last tape I have East meets West from TNM. I have a long way to go too.
azure turtle
02-21-2002, 12:12 AM
Oy! I need to get the TNM vid and the other two movies! Those are three tapes that I don't want to miss out on  Four of the cartoon tapes I have are part of the Heroes In a Half Shell box set! This was released by f.h.e. quite a while ago. It's probably my most prized piece in my TMNT tape collection
Yep, I have those. Though one's in bad shape. Okay, on the Hot Rodding Teenagers tape, are the episodes backwards, or is it just my tape?
azure turtle
02-21-2002, 12:17 AM
Hmmm.....I don't know for sure. I haven't seen that tape in a while, so I can't remember. I'll watch it when I go back home, which will probably be a while  I wish my room had a VCR....
Yeah, sucks. I don't have a VCR persay, because that would imply that it records. I don't even know what to call my video player.
See, on my tape they have Hot Rodding Teenagers from Dimension X (episode 4) THEN A Thing About Rats (episode 3). It really throws things out of sync.
azure turtle
02-21-2002, 12:23 AM
Hmmm.....that's weird. Big blooper on f.h.e.'s part. They should've looked at the vids closer, since that particular one was one of the first they released.

I have two comic storage boxes full of em, consisted of the Mirage, all but 5 of the Images, the various special runs, and a scattering of the Archies.
But comics and the first movie are my specialties... if you ask me something specific about the TMNT cartoon or the Archies, I'll be lost!

the TMNT1 DVD...
One can catch soooo many bloopers and oddities when watching that in slo-mo... Shall I also whine about the fact I have all these screen caps of these said bloopers, but I still haven't made time to get them posted? Or maybe I should shut up and stop teasing you guys?
azure turtle
02-21-2002, 06:03 PM
Wow!
*bows to HorseTechie*
You are indeed wise  And you have screenshots of these bloopers! Totally tubular! I think I should upgrade my TMNT tape to a TMNT DVD.

Back to beverages again...
Raphael wants hot chocolate with the little marshmallows in the new comic.
Hmm, hot chocolate... Did he ever get it? No, don't tell me, I wanna wait till I get my copy!

Man! I want the new comic! I haven't bought any stamps since the post office was so crowded today. I have the check all good to go, it's just getting some of those cursed stamps....
*pats azure's head* Poor blue Turtle. I had trouble with my envelope printing.

Why must we have such a string of bad luck, Kali? The great turtle god must not be pleased with some of our past actions.

Its good to not be normal.
azure turtle
02-21-2002, 08:00 PM
Yep, being normal is boring. Thanks for your incantations, dudettes! I'm sure the great turtle gods shall grant me the necessary power to push past the crowd and buy some stamps.
Skeletoncrew
02-22-2002, 12:59 AM
And hey, if you have some loose change they normally have a stamp machine in the lobby!
azure turtle
02-22-2002, 01:04 AM
Well, there's a stamp machine near the front desk, but it only gives out packets of twenty. That means I've got to shell out $6.80 for a small booklet of stamps! I don't really write letters. A booklet of ten stamps lasted me almost two months. I'll go back to the post office tomorrow, and fight off the crowd with my ninjitsu skills
Skeletoncrew
02-22-2002, 01:05 AM
Oh ick. The ones around here usually have single stamps too. May the force be with you!

Thanks, Skeletoncrew! I shall use the force tomorrow. No one will be able to stop me from achieving my goal.
