Anybody else annoyed about the dark turtles figures

I mean is it just me or do the original green paint apps look a lot better than the silly brightly color coded figures that we have today especially dontalleo's, his head doesn't even match his body...

The originals did look much, much better. Still, at least they fit the characters from the series!

(And yes, I am aware they were originally supposed to be green on TV as well)

I just wish I could find the bloody things without having to resort to online shopping.

I don't like them because when I actually DO find the FF toys, I only see them and a Tobin Zixx. I wish I got Donatello when I had the chance but Didn't.

I thought the decision to tone their skins the color of their bandanas a bit insulting and just unnecessary. It's not that hard to tell which is the clone for each turtle. Oddly enough, Mike's clone is not the color of his bandana and his dark turtle clone was my favorite as far as appearance and color goes. I liked the yellow skined Mike but not the others. The green figs were very cool looking though.

They where cool looking and had better head sculpts for sure especially don.
It's funny though everyones complaining about the colour change and it was Lairds doing to make them that way just goes to show not every idea a creator has is a good one frankly I don't mind either way.:D

The head sculpt on it is still more acurate than the demonic looking new head he got.

I'm glad they changed their paint color to be honest it looks better and is show accurate. Had they been green you guys would have just complained and I'm sure someone would have re-painted them to be show accurate anyways.

And I don't mind the colours of them to be honest what if the dna sh'okanabo took from the turtles some how attached to parts of there bandanas and thats how the odd colours happend lol I know a bit far fetched but it's the only Idea I can think of haha:lol:

They aren't new if you read through the thread those are the orignal designs for them and will never be made available unless you some day come across prototypes.

If you really wanted the green figs, I'm sure you could convice a dromer to customize the colored dark turtle figs for you. I don't want to volunteer anyone to do it for you but I couldn't hurt to ask Putrescent

To be honest i see that Dark raph and Don are show accurate. Dark Leo and Mikey's prototypes were the accurate versions excluding the colors.
