Freddy vs Jason vs Ash is coming....in comic book form at least. A 6 issue mini coming in Nov. :evilgrin:

I think I just went through puberty a second time just now.
Awesome. Ash has been doing pretty much nothing but crossovers lately and I thought it was getting sort of cheesy.
But I will gladly accept this one.
Cool. More Ash comics are a good thing. Next up, Ash vs. Aliens vs. Predator, right? :P

They pitched this idea to Bruce Campbell awhile back and he refused to let his character be used in such a fashion. Something like that.

That... reasoning sounds rather ridiculous to me. There are connotations other than pornographic that are beneath Bruce Campbell's Ashley J. Williams? I'd think AoD made a big enough joke of him that thisexcuse would no longer be an option.

Yeah, like him losing the fight. I think before Jason VS. Freddy was made, it was originally planned for Ash to be in the middle. But the way it panned out was crap.

Nah.. the Hero vs Aliens vs Predator stuff is getting old. I mean yea Terminator vs Aliens vs Predator was an ok series and "Batman: Dead End" was an awesome fan film (find it if you can). Plus the fact that it seems that the DCU seems to have a foot old on em (like the recent Superman Batman vs Alien vs Predator mini. Loved it! ). Kinda feel sorry for ole Supes tho...whenever he sees either he's like "Oh no! Not again!" and Batman seems to carry a defence against both at all times in his belt. :lol: Green Lantern has faught em individually too and with the JLA. Seriously.... Heck find Superman vs Terminator. That is an AWESOME mini. Superman totally kicks arse! :D
As for Ash. We gotta let him rest. I mean he litterally just barely survived Marvel Zombies vs Army of Darkness (a hilarious and awesome 5 part mini that just ended last month). And now he's going up against Freddy Kreuger and Jason Vourhes! Wouldn't be surprised if he did eventually get to fight the Aliens or Predators...or both someday.

Dang, I must be losing my mind. When I first saw the name Ash I thought this was about the kid from Pokemon.:P Wouldn't that just make a wacky crossover! Go Bruce Campbell!

#1 was surprisingly good. I thought killing off the survivors of Freddy vs. Jason was a little unecessary, but Ash's narration made it fun.
Also dug how they tied in the Necronomicon's cameo from Jason Goes to Hell into the story. I had almost forgotten all about that. Nice pull on the writers' part.

I think it was Sam Raimi actually. In the most recent Evil Dead video game, Bruce mentioned that there may be an ED 4.
I didn't get a chance to read these, and I found out that the TPB of them all is coming out in September.
Off topic: has anyone seen Bruce in Burn Notice? If not, get to it. Go to hulu.com or buy the first season set. It's a great show.
