From the movie I'd like to see Colonel Santino. I think they skipped him because he didn't have any part in the main plot but I think he was a pretty cool bad guy and he'd go awesome with the new Jungle Leo.

And I would have loved to see a good playset of the portal/Maxcorp building! They could do the portal with the big tablets of stone and the 13 monster cages around them. Maybe even with a little bit of the courtyard attached. And they should throw in the little winged vortex monster. That would be a great set!

What would I have liked to see in 2K3?

-Definitely a figure of the spliced Draco/Daimyo's Son.

-Shredder's super suit from "Shredder's Final Countdown." Complete with Ch'rell Utrom

-Mr. Mortu, just to have a figure that covers his inner Utrom.

-A set of "released state" Foot Mystics.

-The Ancient One. Virtually no poseability, but comes with a cel-battery and a fart sound maker. :D

-Dr. Chaplain as he appears in Lost Season

-And a set of the Ninja Tribunal themselves.

I also think they dropped the ball by not making a "Mirage Legends" line for upscale collectors. And not even a retro line. A comic specific toy line sold only at collector stores. I mean, all 4 turtles with red masks, Casey as he looked in the comic with a removable mask.... and all the characters that only appeared in comics in comic form. maybe make a deal with all the indie cartoonists that wrote and drew for the comic for their versiosn of the characters. Would be cool to see a Fannywhacker toy.

This is something I'd like to see, too, but it sounds like Playmates isn't remotely interested in selling figures outside of the WalMart/TRU market. However, Murphy did drop a hint in a comment on his blog that it's not entirely impossible for a different company to do this.

I would absolutely love Turtles in the style of all the different Mirage artists.
