I been reading through some threads and been trying to piece together some idea on whats going to happen with the show. I have comcast and all I had on demand is just the shredder strikes back my rat is my father, then for this month only Season 2s first 5 eps are geting shown. I never seen any fast foreward eps shown here. I live in Baltimore area and Fox WBFF 45 is my Fox channel. So I am confused are we going to see the last of ff soon or does anybody got any fresh news on whats up with the next direction of the show. I read in one thread Laird canceled the next season or something? So I can assume whatever the ending for FF is I hope the 2K3 storyline will continue.

The final 6 FF shows will be shown starting sometime in December. The Lost Season will be aired some time in Fall. Then the new direction wont be around till 08

I've got a question for you tho. What is "my rat is my father"? I'm pretty sure that this is not an episode title.

:To the Nines:

That (Rat is My Father) was the section-name on the 4Kids On Demand area, around Father's Day time period. Having various episodes from TMNT (the section title, of course, pertaining to Splinter).

:U2WaTCHer:

For 4Kids On Demand's TMNT listings as-a-whole, they did have the remaining Fast Forward episodes for a while, as well as a variety of others at times.
Presently they only have "Turtles in Space" 5-Parter up for viewing.

I had the impression that the final 6 Fast Forwards would being airing as soon as Sept/Oct 2007, then Lost Season would begin in early 2008. After that, the "new direction" season would begin in Fall 2008. :ohwell:

Hello guys! Wow, it seems I've been out for years. Tell me please, is season 7 being expected? I've been told that seasons 5 and 6 aren't going to be released in Russia even on DVD so I'm downloading them from the torrents but how many seasons of the turtles are they going to create?:o

Well.. things are basically like this--

TMNT (2k3) had 5 Seasons. Then they had Fast Forward for 1 Season. And now there's going to be another series coming.

Honestly, I really hope 4kids realized they made a mistake and want to produce something that is at least close to 2k3's standards. I'm guessing the proposal that was shown to Peter Laird was something far worse than FF because of his extreme "thumbs down" to it's showing. I wish 'The Lost Season' was a full 26 episode season that was shown as opposed to Fast Forward. The 12 episodes we got were amazing. Let's hope the new direction coming will be good.

What mistake did 4kids make?

What mistake did 4kids make?

FF, making the Lost Season a lost season, cutting off FF after it actually got good. Making us wait a ****in year for a new season. :)

What mistake did 4kids make?

They pretty much did the opposite of what we were hoping. I think that when we all heard "Turtles in the FUTURE!" we thought of Batman Beyond.. a stylish, interesting, and slightly darker future. What did we get instead?

"It's NINJA TIME!" 9_9

4Kids must have thought that the reason TMNT2K3 wasn't doing too well was because it wasn't cartoony enough. There wasn't as many bright colors, silly plots, or off-the-wall things that make other shows popular with young audiences. And it seems more and more of the 10-13 year old audience is absorbed into video games and forgets cartoons even exist.

Well whatever the reason, Fast Forward fell with a louder thud than previous seasons did.

I do agree that it was not a good idea to air FF before Season 5. I am not sure why they did this. Season 5 is awesome and I do not see why would it reduce ratings. Season 4 was not the best, but the 5th one is much better and does pick up quite well.

Imagine all the little hardcore turtle fans that don't know whats going on, they get this massive massive cliff hanger, and by the time the new season comes, the TMNT are randomly in the future!

I think my little nephews like...FF....cos of all the brightness, etc.

But I did show them the first eps of 2K3 and they LOVED it.

Actually, PLAYMATES was thining the TMNT line wasn't doing well because they clogged it with useless varients that never happened in the show, or that only happened briefly. THEY created FF, and 4Kids wanted it.

The "toned down" bit comes from "Insane in the Membrain," "Nightmare Recycled," and some anus head that became the censor for fox that wanted to make shows kiddy and unrelateble.

I think it was just stupid to air half of FF season 2 as soon as they did. And I think they just wrote and animated the show too soon before they realized they needed to stop the series. They could have at least made a big story arc to end the series.

Plus now we're going to get only 6 episodes to be rerun for weeks until January at the earliest.

I just hope they don't cancel it. Granted, I have seen all the episodes and am very happy about them. But it was such a good series- it merits more. If the OT lasted for 10 seasons, why can't this one if it's even better?

The show is already confirmed for 2008; no need to worry about cancellation.
