*Note* I don't know if this is the correct forum, but I thought it fit nicely here since it's Old-School.
While camping down in southern Indiana, my girlfriend and I went to Edinburg, IN where they have a huge Outlet Mall and Antique mall. Well, while walking around, I found this nifty little ride.

For Those who can't see, it says "Turtle Turbo Power" and gives the tire "size."

It's been a week now, but I thought you would all appreciate it. I had been wanting to get these up for a while, but I've been working non-stop.

Thanks for ruining it for me Rose! ;) I didn't ride it, but if it weren't for the fact that there was Mall Security and Cameras I would have busted the damn change door open, left the quarters, and stolen the ride just to have in my house.

Strange that they would manufacture a retro turtle van for children considering most all children old enough to ride it would have no clue what it is

I had no idea the turtles were so patriotic.
Also, the turtles are driving very fast for such a top heavy vehicle.

Oh, I'm not exactly sure. Huge, giant mall place. I've only been there the one time, and only because there was a Pokemon event going on. 8)

pretty neat... Well yeah, If they were from 1987 or start 90's they would probably be pretty trashed by now hehe...
So they are probably fairly new...

I had no idea the turtles were so patriotic.
In the 'big' threeparter they leave splinter in the technodrome which is rolling towards ny just to stop a rocket from hitting mount rushmore with the words 'those unpatriotic gooseballs'.
Strangely the turtles are VERY patriotic (maybe just brownnosing the human race though). :p
The van looks cool btw, just not my size. ^^

Maybe it's from the late 1980's or early 1990's.

It does seem way too new and clean and shiny to be from the 80s/early 90s.
Not that it makes it any less AWESOME!!!

Yeah, I took pics of one a month or so ago at a mall about a half hour from me. Unfortunately, they're on my cell, haha.
You got some nice, detailed pics, though.

haha I really really hope they put one of those at one of the random stores here. I remember those kind of kid coin rides, but never a TMNT one!
Those are pretty neat but I highly doubt those are from the 80's, early 90's...they seem to be in pretty awesome condition, esp for the first one which is located outside...

Nope. Oakridge is the one San Jose mall I've been to more than once; there's no TMNT there. I checked a map and it was Valley Fair. I can't say anything about how long it's been there, though.

Most of them are, except a few like the mall by my house, the Great Mall, as well as some others like Valco and Town Center*Which I think thet closed finally*

Ah okay, yeah Vallyfair is in Santa Clara to me, but that comes from living in the area for so long.
I could have it mixed up and the VF one is the one that I remember being there forever. Because Oakridge is newer then VF. Valco used to have one to but that craphole closed down. I drove by there the other day it looks like they re-did it I'm tempted to see what it's become.

Kawaii!!! I remember seeing a Garfield one not too long ago. You never see cartoon character based ones that much anymore. They're just generic tranis that look like HIT should threaten to sue them over copying Thomas the Tankengine.

I have seen one in the past couple years, clean and new looking. They are old, but they're making new ones or refurbing. I remember these way back when OT was still the big thing.

Woa!! you reminded me of all my previous malls I miss the arcade at Valco, Great mall is Awesome but Valley fair is cool but its way to crowded specially since thew santana row opened :ohwell:
Anyways... I just happened to come across one of these awesome little cars at the Camarillo outlet, near the food court about two weeks ago, It was a really nice surprise...
I remember that ride in the UK some years ago. The turtles were not metallic green though.

I read this topic a while ago and wanted to post these pics but it took me some time to find them again on my back-up drive. Anyway, here's some pictures I took at a drive-thru restaurant in Germany.
