Well, let me tell you how the day's been going so far:

At about 10:30 last night, I popped in the first movie DVD and watched the trailer TWICE before actually watching the movie. It was exactly midnight when I was done, so I went to bed and set my alarm for 8:30 (central time) to ensure that I wouldn't be up less than an hour before it started (again, central time starts at 9:30). As you can see now, I've actually been up since about 7:00...I CAN'T WAIT!

At the moment, besides posting here, I'm listening to the first movie soundtrack (I'm on Shredder's Suite right now), and once that's done, I'll be listening to all my other TMNT music (theme songs and the VG music that I've ripped) to get me more into the mood.

I kinda surprised my mom this morning. She was wondering why I was up so early, then once I explained to her that I was waiting for the new TMNT to premiere, she understood. She knows how much into TMNT I am :D

I was cool about it yesterday, but then early this orning I had a short dream I had missed it. Ugh.

Then hubby was taking forever to leave for work (cause I did n;t want him to realize my level of geekdom)... but I got to see it.

I was playing Perfect Dark's multiplayer mode by myself. I set the alarm clock to sound when it's 5 minutes before the show. Time flies when you're having fun.

I can't say I lost sleep over it, when I got up it was preety bright and I was really afraid I missed it for a few seconds, but I didn't :D

I actually woke up at 7:00, then went back to sleep until 8:30. Until 10:30 I occupied myself by reading the new Star Wars book. But I really wasn't concentrating on it, I was thinking of the TMNT.

so people went out of their way to prepare? I went to bed at my usual 4am and got up a few minutes before it started.

Man, good thing that was just a dream...oh man...well, were not gonna go there...

I could not sleep the night before. I had to set the VCR so that it could tape the episode while I am out-of-town for the weekend. I finally got to watch the episode at 12 on Sunday. Today I have watched it about 6 times. :P
