Whouldn't it be awesome if it were made a Animated Feature Film based of the TMNT OT series! A movie with krang and shredder side by side fighting the turtles to the end, and with all the other OT series characters like The Rat King, Leatherhead, Baxter The Fly and Casey Jones.

All my multiple personalities would sign the petition for it. :D

Unfortunately i doubt such a thing will ever hit the shell, the creators of the ot assume we're all too old or cool for cartoons like that.

Yeah i strongly doubt it to, but the thought about it is awesome:tgrin:. But maybe in the future it will be a Animated Featured Film of the NT series!

Considering a lot of so called fans whined and bizz-niched about who the new movie wasn't like the old school series (because it was a floating sequal to the movies) I think there is a market for it. but it all comes down to Peter Laird wanting them to make one. I do not think he does. he doesn't hate the old series... much like how Steve Martin got out of obvious comedy and went to snotty subtile stuff, he's just assumed he moved on.

I'd love to see one that is an alternate universe retelling of Krang and Shredder's defeat (not what happened in the last season with them in it).

They could always have Krang the Utrom turn evil and become the next season's enemy and try to use Shredder Karai as his puppet.

I would definitely like to see a feature film like the one described. But then, I'm willing to watch nearly everything TMNT. Except TNM, of course.

Sounds cool enough, but I'm not getting my hopes up that it'll ever happen.

No. But y'all knew I'd say that. :P

I'd love to see an animated movie like that as long as they could get the original voice cast and some of the original writers to participate. But sadly, like several others said, it's very unlikely that it would be made.

It would be weird... The upside is, with cartoons being more action-packed nowadays, not even the 80's turtles would be hiding being pizza-throwing and pulling the rug out from under the bad guys feet. We'd finally be seeing the 80's turtles kick some ninja ass.

The downside is, they'd probably try too hard to make it like the old show and we'd be stuck with tons of horrible one-liners, super-cheese for the hell of adding cheese and pop culture references every 10 minutes.

Yep, and it's great to know that they can all still do their voices. James Avery would have to practice for a bit, and I'm not sure if Barry and Cam can still do Bebop and Rocksteady... and how old is Peter Reneday by now?

I love pop culture references in TMNT!

Wouldn't be a downside for me aswell. :D

It should involve real fighting though instead of goofy cutting rope/dropping something on head-stuff. The general cheesyness was allways cool, same for the ooc-comments ('Oh no, this is going to be yet another mutant episode').

It's not unlikely, it's not possible. Laird would never allow that to happen, and we all know why.

Plus it's to late as well. But yes I would love to see it. Though I'd want Dregg in it as well as Shredder and Krang. They should do a "Night Of The Rogues" style movie where the turtles have to battle their worst foes.

I think the best way of doing that would be to introduce a character like Savanti into the old toon world or something like that.
I'd like to see that happen though them agains everyone (or almost everyone could do without the mad scientists and thugs) they've ever gone up against.
I'd say use Savanti because he could bring them back from their prime times in the show and have Titanus in the mix also because he could meet Savanti in the past and Titanus could tell him the story of what the turtles did to him and so together they come back and do all of this.
I really think that would be amazing it could be like the Forever War in old toon animated form.

I'd like to see some Archie plotlines animated period. I think some of them could work in the NT.
