Topic. I know most people will probably say they prefer the fight scenes in 2k3 but I find some of the fight scenes in FF to be just as awesome. Episodes such as Milk Run, Invasion of the Body Jacker, Enter the Jammerhead, Obsolete, Fly me to the Moon, and Playtimes Over are good examples. You see the turtles preform some fast paced and difficult looking moves. Sometimes I had to rewind and pause to find out exactly what the characters were doing. And because the turtles Fusion FX weapons are more versatile than their ordinary weapons they have a bigger move pool. One of the downsides to the FF fights are that they shorter than the 2k3 fights but I would not mind seeing more of the FF type fighting style in season seven.

Hmm, they suck. Cartoony and they use fantasy weapons. Also, as you said, too short.

ok seriously enough with the Fast Forward posts...I like the show and I'm sick of them turning into flam wars because almost everyone else hates it and the other half who do like it are to chicken to talk about it in fear of being flamed chicken. oi!

Never. As long as there is a new toon section people will always make FF posts. I can take the flames.

I can't take the annoyance any more of the rude posters it's like people just can't enjoy some thing anymore without being called a sheep or a poser or they have no mind of their own.
I just think it's a bit soon considering the flames that happened not to long ago.
It's nice now though that I feel like I can't even post my opinions of things...
I say though they're fight scenes like in any other cartoon they're gonna be cartoonish...it's not like the old batman days though that's really cartoonish zow! bam! zonk!

I think they fit the style of the show. But I do think the new movies fight scenes were the best so far. 2k3 is a close second, then FF.

Not to offend but the fight scenes is FF were awful, generic and boring.

They were over simplified and made so the turtles would have an easy win, regaurdless of how big the odds were, against them.

Even the fight scenes and bad situations that would arise in the original 80's cartoon are more exciting.

I like them all. They are all fine with me. The more kickarse, the better.

some of the moves in the fights are entertaining but the fights themselves aren't amazing. The best fights are in the comics and those are just still drawings!

I thought some were cool. I can't think of many off the top of my head, but I loved the one where Leo was fighting Jammerhead and he kicks his sword out of his sheath. I thought that was awesome. I can also recall at least one other moment of "OH SWEET!" in the 2nd half of the season, but I don't remember what it was exactly.

Of course, none of them will match up to the first time they fought Bishop in the original 2k3. My absolute favorite and pure bad ass. 8)

Considering I haven't had the dough to grab season 2 yet, I will say the fight sequences are the best thing about the show.

yeah the TMNT in FF win way too easily. I don't like how they seem so much stronger than the Dark TMNT, even though they're like twice their size. It kinda kills the whole 'bigger badder evil clone' thing. I mean, what would Venom be if Spiderman could mop the floor with him without even trying?

Not really. The turtles stated they could not beat the Gunjin or Dark Turtles without their fusion fx weapons. Dread Lord was mopping the floor with the turtles until Cody came. And the enhanced Jammerhead beat all of them.

I do not like much of FF. The weapons are silly- in all honesty I believe the guys would prefer their traditional weapons. The fight scenes were corny and unbelievable.
I mean, whats better than Donnie making a funny attempt at movie stunts while fighting in the CAW story? That who fight is better than any fight in FF. The best fight was the huge Shredder story arc...the rain, thunder, lighting, the drama...that's great animation.

If they wanted their old weapons they would have made their old weapons in Obsolete. Except for Mikeys chucks the rest of the fusion fx weapons were made by the turtles. And I dont mind that you disliked the fights but please explain how they were "unbelievable".

The Turtles didn't want new weapons. Playmates, however....

I think so too, but they are trying to make it more cartoony than the original. That means they wanted to make it more like the old cartoon logic in which the hero always wins easily. Like the whole 1950's cowboy epic "Killing 10000 indians with one bullet" bit.

I remember watching the fight against Zukko's minions on top of the spaceshuttle... I recall saying to myself "Woah... that would make an awesome battle in a video game!"
