This is for anyone who has ever had the green ninja turtle hostess pies or even anyone who has been interested in trying the promotional pies that came out in the early 90's to promote the movie and were very short lived..if you are interested in bringing them back here is a link to sign a petition to bring them back http://www.petitiononline.com/288/petition-sign.html

I'm sure those pies had a shelf life on em so they can just repackage the old ones. Mmmnnnn... Pies.

When I worked at the comic store we had a customer who worked at Hostess. He said that the tmnt pies were such a pain in the butt to make that whenever a new product was being made from hostess that was causing problems the employees would say "at least it isn't mutagen pies".

I remember having these, and the stickers that came with. I'd give up being a vegetarian if they made these again. (There's animal fat in hostess fruit pies, can you believe it? Well at least now that I can't eat them I'm much healthier.)

That is what I'm hoping for. I don't want to spend labor day in the hospital.

Why do they have to put animal fat in them? It's like the BBQ Baked Lays- I cannot eat them because they have chicken fat in them. I feel guilty enough about eating yogurt made with Kosher gelatin- which comes at worst from cow hooves. And I have had to give up two favorite childhood pastries because both have lard in them.

Anyhow, back then I never saw them on the shelves. Nor the cereal. I just pretended the Del Monte yogurt was from the TMNT because of the colors it came in. Curiously, my fave was the blueberry one.

It will be a great dessert after I polish off that bag of Lays chips I have from Star Wars Episode I.

Oh man. I threw out my Episode I potato chip bags and Pepsi cans when I moved out of my parents' house. That was 2003 - so I only kept them for, oh, four years...

I honestly don't remember these. I don't want anyone to open their sealed pies, is this basically what they looked like?

I had all the pepsi cans too, including the gold Yoda one (I worked for pepsi bottling co at the time) but all of them went bad bc I stored them improperly.

I think I remember signing this petition once before.

Hopefully we get them again. I really liked them.

Considering we may never see them again no thanks to the health fascists who think cartoon characters should not promote junk foods (But rather habit forming unnecessary perscription drugs), I signed it just to get my beliefs out.

They dropped the ball not releasing these for the cartoon series or the TMNT movie. We always have a shot if they want to make a sequal.
