As someone else stated in another thread, "Race for Glory" is just another episode. I liked the other boy- he seemed pretty smart. Other than that, nothing very memorable- unless you like Planet Racers or racing in general. I think it is mostly Raphael-centered. Leonardo does not say or do all that much.

I skipped it. I meant to get the FF DVD last week, but didn't. I'd rather wait and watch them all at once.

Falcon saved the episode IMO. It was awesome seeing him again. I figured it out right away, so I felt cool.

Glad to know Im not the only one who realized that Falcon is the same Falcon from "Across the Universe".
It's simple...in that ep Raph went further into the future than 2105. I'd say roughtly 2015/2025.

And probably also on different planet where planet racing took place. I believe there's already a thread about this in here.

Yeah I posted an episode discussion some time ago when this episode first aired.
But for whatever reason it's not around now.

I was a complete idiot and didn't get the reference until later. I recognized that Raph said something like, "That name sounds familiar" but it didn't make any sense to me. At the time I thought it was Cody in disguise trying to get in on the racing action. You have to admit, he looks just like Cody with black hair and a red hat.

Huh? 2015/2025 is not-as-far into the future as 2105. So, what part did you typo? If you think that's the same Falcon character, I'm guessing you meant that "Across the Universe" was set in 2115/2125, right?

Forgot to mention On Demand... Thanks. I'll remember for next time. :)

I thought it was pretty obvious when this kid pops up with 23 all over him and he's wearing red. I said oh look it's that dude from the Planet Racers thing...whatever his name was. lol
I honestly thought he was a descendant, but it's obvious now.

Me to.
Of course, this now begs the question: If Raph looks generally the same in both Falcon episode, shouldn't Falcon have said something like "I remember you from my childhood" or something like that in "Across the Universe"?
Other than this thought, the episode was okay. Maybe if they used a different or NEW villain, it would have been better. To me, Triple Threat is one of the most boring villains I've seen in a long time. He just screams Ultimate Muscle, in the worst way possible.
I'm guessing that Falcon had seen so many different alien races between now and then that he has both unsure and maybe he did say something, just while the cameras were off. ^_^

Nahhhh.... If he were a kinnikuman/ultimate Muscle character he'd have some long backstory about how he became a wrestler, and how he became evil..... then he gets defeated and he's on the brink of death. And then all the sudden you see him in a future episode coming to Kid Muscle's rescue and joining the seigi Chojin group or something.
Trust me, I know this stuff.

Earth is inhabited by thousands of alien races, keep in mind.

Don't like Triple Threat, don't like racing, this episode did nothing for me. One of my least favorite episodes.
Now next weeks is going to be sweet.

I would have to agree. The only redeming factor was Falcon.

I've got the DVD, and saw it then, but I liked this ep nonetheless. Loved Raph and his bike, and Falcon was cool, too. Ddin't like Triple Threat (never have, really), but LORD! did I feel sorry for "their" middle head. He looks like HE's the only one of the three with any brains, sense or good ideas (well, SORTA), so I can understand how he's feel being stuck with such annoyIng "siblings".
Actually, the only REAL gripe that I had with the ep WASN'T with the ep itself, but my Fox channel and the weather around here Saturday. It was raining/semi-storming, so there in the lower left-hand corner of my TV screen was the ubicquitious and annoying county-weather warning box. NOT good when you're trying to record an ep; drives ME nuts!
AND, on top of THAT (and I don't know if any of YOU guys's Fox/4Kruds afflilaites did this), RIGHT in the middle (or thereabouts) during the ep's FINAL segment, some idiot at MY local Fox affliate. KFSX27 out of Springfield, MO, must've fallen asleep at the switch, or jumped the gun, or something, because RIGHT as Raph and Falcon were getting on Raph's bike (I THINK it was then; they were on it when the ep came back, near the END of the ep), all of a sudden I'm NOT staring at TMNT: FF goodness, I'm watching a commercial and HALF of ANOTHER one! I was flat-out TICKED! I mean, TV is plagued with ENOUGH danged commercials (and the ep had JUST come BACK from its scheduled commercial-break, anyway), so WHY did whoever it was at KFSX drop the danged ball and DO that?! Whoever the bleedin' idiot was, he (or she) messed up my recording, and NOW I'm gonna hafta wait til it reruns and try again! Grrrrrrr. HATE when that happens.........!!!
Other than THAT, I really liked the ep. Heh, ANY ep that has Raph and a motorcycle is one of MY definite faves!

I wasn't impressed with this ep at all. It was sorta boring, IMO. Falcon was cool, but that was the only cool thing about this ep.
Was it just me, or did Leo say, "It's Ninja Time!" in the ep? I thought I heard him say it in a different way than usual. I couldn't hear properly because my parents were talking too loudly. Could someone clear this up for me?

I think i have seen this before... It's like deja vu.
Its a decent episode. Now that I have seen it a few times I think its almost as good as a mediocre 2k3 filler episode... But much better than many FF episodes? What does it all mean?
Nothing, absolutley nothing!

Oh my god! Your so right, FF is terrible. It has all these bad comic adaptations, and corny jokes that aren't funny.
Oh wait...

Since when has FF adapted any of the comics?
I think what Spitfire means is that he was happy with the fact that Fast Forward had brand new stories which is the same reason I enjoyed it as well much in the same vain as the old cartoon.
2k3 did try its damndest to adapt the comic but in my opinion fell flat on it's fast in most attempts.
But I really think that's what he was saying hence his oh wait comment after.

I found this episode pretty dull. I had completly forgotten about Falcon from the Planet Racers episode (which wasn't exactly a thrill ride either), so I didn't get the connection until I read it here. And Tripple Threat is the worst villian of the show, even worse than Garbage Man or Nano. Somebody should have told the writers that spouting random nonsense (the yellow head) =/= funny.
And what's with Mikey's lazy attitude, I thought he learned a lesson in Graduation Day? Guess I was mistaken that FF could give the guys some permanent character development, especially since his laziness had no negative consequences in this episode even. I mean, they made Dark!Leo so interesting, why do they persist in making Mikey so annoying? Because I seriously starting to hate FF!Mike and I've never disliked any of the turtles like that before.

You know I actully going back over the series started to really find the yellow head of Tripple Threat shame he wasn't a character on his own his random comments to thinks made me laugh my @ss off more than anything I've seen from the turtles in years besides some random comments from mike in 2k3.

Now that made me laugh pretty good.
