Remember when the Technodrome sank into the lava in REturn of the Technodrome Season finale, how many of you besides me then thought it was the end of the bad guys and I wonder if they did that incase the show would not come back. I mean anyone would have thought that would have destroyed them, but you can hear Krang yell Shredder this is all your fault! and there was a hole in the Technodrome due to the Turtles.
The show was then at a weekend format. But then after that the show moved to a 5 days a week format with fun new episodes. I hated how some episodes aired out of order! like some season 2 eps aired after REturn of The TEchnodrome
I realize that the 5 parter of the First Season was intended to be a trial run of the series.
And For Season 3 did anyone think it was the end of the bad guys when the Technodrome was blasted to Dimension X and the rock Solders fired on them thinking it was earth coming through, and the portal was closed and the power of the Technodrome was gone and the Technodrome was trashed.
For the first 3 seasons they made us think the bad guys were finished and we got another season. I LOVED THAT. I loved the Series finalies of the Turtles. But seasons 4, 5 and 6 had no real finales, as by then they knew they would be guarenteed another season, and Shredder and KRang were not in those episodes as they appeared less in those seasons, maybe they thought some people might have started to get tired of them by the end of SEason 3, but they were good characters that made the show work. But My brother the bad guy and Rock around the Block had "the technodrome returns but gets stranded somewhere else" and they were season openers. The Shredder Triumphant finale was the first real one in 4 years and was also a close to the Turtles series as we knew it from 1987-1993 and was the last ep before the Red Sky ones. The Red sky ones had real finales.
