Well, there were alot actually.

Among them--

Jagwar
Dreadmon
Armaggon
Verminator X
Warrior Dragon
Bellybomb
Chien Khan
Ninjara

And that's just naming a few (as there are many others, too).

Wasn't Armaggon that big shark guy? One of my first Archie comics was the issue where he was gripping Leo by the head. Man, I wish I still had those comics. I'm going to have to buy some new copies one of these days.

Jess Harley. Leatherhead existed in the cartoon and the comics (as 2 very different versions) but Jess Harley 9and while we're at it Mary Bones) never were in the show.

Not to mention those 2 guys from Stump Asteroid, Stash and Stump (Stash was his name, right?) and Cryin' Houn'!

Stump and Sling.

Then we got the other villians like Null and Maligna.

Did that giant cow head guy ever show up? He didn't when I was watching the show.

Man, I really gotta find those comics again.

Cudley the Cowlick.

And no, he wasn't in the show. As he was another aspect of the Stump Asteroid stuff (the majority of which was comic-only).

Of the Archie cheracters only Mondo Gecko, Leatherhead, Slash, and Merdude appeared in the series. Merdude's origin was the only one who even closely resembled the comic book origin.

Mondo Gecko's origin in the toon was that he was a normal gecko who mutated along with the turtles and that Splinter just never saw him but Michelangelo somehow REMEMBERED him years later and he ended up moving next door....never to be seen again. :ohwell:

Ace Duck appeared briefly in one episode in which the turtles were watching interdemensional tv and happen to fall upon a channel he was on.

Firstly, Didn't Slash sort of resemble his cartoon counterpart, at least in the aspect of him having a thing for Palm trees.

And you forgot Wingnut and Screwloose, who were extrememly different from their comic counterparts.

To some degree, but Archie Slash more resembled Action Figure Slash.

Yeah, then there's the whole: Man Ray/Ray Fillet/Ray business from Archie Comic/Toyline/Cartoon, repectively.

I think there is a character called Charlie Llama that does not show up in the OT.

Yeah, he is (yet another that doesn't).

And, while posting, will lengthen my post with a few other Archie Comic characters that aren't in the OT--

Al'Falqa
Vid Vicious
Scul and Bean
The Glublubs
The Nova Posse
Sarnath (though the story with him acted as a follow-up to the Cartoon-Adaptation issues with the Eye of Sarnath, he didn't appear in that or the toon itself)

I'll end there for now.

Yeah, but it was more like action figure Ace and not Archie Ace. In the toy line he was an Ace pilot who was mutated, in the comics he was an alien wrestler.
