An appeal to TMNT Fans

Hello everybody, I know all of you are TMNT fans out there and I'd like to ask you for some help. If any of you have looked on Wikipedia, you would have noticed there was a list of TMNT episodes (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_Teenage_Mutant_Ninja_Turtles_%282003%29_ep isodes) for the new series, but the episodes themselves still need to have the plot synopses added. Since this is such a huge task with over 100 episodes, I am requesting a little assistance from The Technodrome community.

Would anyone be willing to do some plot summaries and give some comments on the notability of the episode, like turning the Shredder into an Utrom?

Shredder did not get turned into an Utrom.

There was originally a tengu Shredder who merged with the original Oroku Saki way back in 300 AD or so. Ch'rell the Utrom took that identity and joined the Foot Clan. And then there's also Karai assuming the Shredder identity later. But nobody ever got turned into an Utrom.

Oh! That was easy...

You see, Saki was doing his thing when suddenly... the plot writers decided to make him fall in some Mutagen, off screen, and he turned into an OMG UTROM! :sick:

I think City Blues wants comments on the decision of the writers making shredder an utrom in this series.
Obviously shredder was not mutated into an utrom, I think ICB is just asking for comments.

Peter Laird and series producer Lloyd Goldfine felt that the series needed a new angle that would surprise fans of the original comic books. They also like how it ties the Turtles' origin into the story of their arch nemesis - and they thought it was a cool idea.

As for Shredder being an Utrom my theory on that is the creators needed a way to decapitate Shredder and mangle his body so they made him an Utrom. Also if you look at it they basically mixed two villains into on. Evil Utom, kinda like Krang no? Shredder's armor, kinda like uhhh Shredder! Yeah Krang and Shredder in one villain. That's the way I see it.

The new cartoon is extremely Post-Modern (if you don't know what that word means, look it up) and because the writers were catering to such a varied audience (which can cause problems), they probably wanted to tip their hats to Krang as a character without coming off as too flippant. It was done EXTREMELY well; the Shredder in the new cartoon is truly an amalgam between the Oroku Saki of the Mirage books and Krang from the original cartoon.

I still kinda prefer a human Saki. It would have been cool if Ch'rell had morphed into a human rather than just had an exosuit.

Anyhow, regarding the turning into an Utrom...the language barrier got in the way again.
