View Full Version : Just called Lionsgate Re:TMNT Classic Season 6 DVDs...
Yep. I finally didn't oversleep or whatever, and called for an email address. Wasn't terribly helpful. :ohwell: I talked to two different people, and they both told me to contact them via the website. So, anyhow, send all your concerns to
[email protected] (mailto:
[email protected]), and they'll have to pay attention if they get a bunch of messages involving the same concerns.
The primary concerns are that they put "ONCE UPON A TIME MACHINE" and the double-length episode "PLANET OF THE TURTLEOIDS" on their next release, so make sure to mention that before any other ideas we might have for extras or whatever.

If I have to tell you people that the 2 parter will be on the next DVD one more time I will personally track you down and strangle you with your own intestines.
Season 6 has 16 episodes, they want to do another set with 18 episodes, do the math.
^ Maybe so. But there's also the problem in their apparent change to using TV.com's listing (from the previous routine they were doing, in seeming to use ninjaturtles.com's list).
As TV.com's has those episodes (as well as the already-released "Turtles and the Hare") under Season 4.
Could you please be constructive, Spit? We still need to let them know that they skipped an episode. They apparently haven't caught that yet.

What aobut the TMNT special that feature Groundchuck? Has that been released with any of the sets yet?

That's the 2-Parter "Planet of the Turtloids". And (as seen above) it isn't out yet.

AND ask them to include all of the different Turtle Tips!
Oh, crud... I already sent my suggestions. I suggested those eps over everything, complimented them on an awesome job of packaging Season 5, gave some more praise about the interviews, suggested other VAs to go after, asked if maybe they could acquire some clean background music to play during the menus, and warned them about Red Sky (to package all three seasons together if they want them to sell). Someone else will have to mention the Turtle Tips. :ohwell: Sorry.

pft. many people will buy those for the simple fact that tuns have never seen them. And if they are split into smaller sets they will cost less hence more people will buy them instead of a 3 season red sky set that would cost like 50.00 no one would buy that except a few of us hardcore fans.

Nah, I agree with Gobo that they should all be thrown together. There's only 24 of 'em, no need to stretch it out unnecessarily. They can do it for $20 or less.

Yea the 40 episodes of season 4 went for like 25 bucks.

I honestly just didn't care for the way he wrote it.
I don't see anything wrong with the red sky series at all quite frankly I saw it as the show returning to it's roots.
I just hope that the box art resembles the episodes on the dvds & I guess I sort of agree also but it doesn't seem like they've had any trouble selling any of the other dvd sets thus far.

If this is coming out in November or December (has anything been confirmed or spotted yet?), then wouldn't the episode list already be complete?

24 episodes means two 12 episode sets the way I look at it from the way they've been doing things.
TV.com can bite me the official turtles site is more trust worthy in my opinion. And I could careless if that episode makes it or not because it's not even good. It's one of the more annoying ones. I get you guys want them all or whatever so that's cool but I'm not going to be heartbroken is that's the one they skip.
So far these sets have been flawless other then this. The Tick sets have missing episodes, some shows don't even get finished so TMNT is actually getting rather good treatment.

Season 6 doesn't even have a release date yet, so hopefully its not too close to being finished before they know about the missing eps.
I'm not too concerned over the Turtleoids 2-parter since I'm betting that'll be on it, its only the second Hokum ep they seem to have forgotten about.

It was rather tactless, the way I posted that. I'm not saying that there's necessarily a problem with them, but my reasoning is this:
- returning to single-disc releases would anger the fans and possibly some others
- people who are getting into the show for the first time and especially soccer moms would buy Season 8, and think, "Where's the goofiness? This isn't TMNT-Cola Classic anymore!", and be less eager to get the future releases
That's all I was getting at. Sorry for the misleading wording.

I've always detested Soccer Moms

Chill. I was mentioning TV.com, because the Season 5 DVD Set episodes are set-up in the same way they're listed there (as opposed to the previous DVDs set-ups being like ninjaturtles.com's guide listing). And, as noted, the missing episodes being under Season 4 on TV.com.

The TV.com episode guide puts the episodes in order by the production number and not by the original air dates.

Well, yeah. But I was more meaning of the DVDs change in episode set-up, actually. With suddenly going from apparently following ninjaturtles.com's guide to doing TV.com's style.

I would probably buy Red Sky. Just for the last Shredder eps, and the series finalie.
