Out of all the brothers, which turtle do you think the other turtles would feel the most uncomfertable or divistated over if he was mad at every one? You know how in a grounp of frineds or siblings there are some people who you can fight with and you know you can handle it and you know it would eventually blow over, with your relationship reletivily intact. But you know there are some friends or siblings that you don't want to ever want to get mad at you or stop talking to you because you can't handle them being mad at you, and that a fight would damage your relationship with that person.

So my question is, which turtle would the other turtles dread/ not be able to handle, being angry with them? Which turtle would cause the other turtles to go, holy crap he's angry with us, what the hell are we going to do? Which turtle would the other turtles feel their relationship would be the most threatend by if that turtle where to get so get angry that they would stop talking to the others for what ever reason. Which turtle would be the hardest to earn their forgivness if they got to the point of being really angry at the other turtles.

Personaly I think the one turtle the other turtles would feel the most devastated over and feel that their relationship would become the most damaged, if he would where to get really angry at them, would be Donatello. I think if for what ever reason, if Donatello where ever to become angry at his brothers that it would be a bigger deal and shock to every one. For the simple fact that I think, that if something is big enough to anger Donatello to the point of not wanting to speak to the others, that it would be a big shock and would inspire the most fear of loseing that closeness to him. And that there would be more a sence of urgancy and panick of earning his forgiveness, and assureing that their realtionship with him remains intact.

I will go with Leonardo. Though he was not exactly angry at his brothers during the first part of the 4th season of the NT, they were still quite devastated by his anger due to his trauma from the defeat. When the leader is angry, the whole team cannot function.

I think it could be said about any of them.
Sure some of them pretend not to care...Raph, or try to be really tough on his brothers...Leo, or keep to themselves...Donny, or try to just have fun and not worry...Mikey
But inside I think it would be hard for any of them to be angry with another. They all have traits that are important to the team and they are family.
Do we not remember the message of the latest film...lol
If anything dread Splinter's reaction to the fighting, he'd be the one I'd worry about. They would be in trouble

I'm with Tinuvielsdreams, they can't function well with any of them devastated by anger. About forgiveness and relationships, well, they'd have to be able to forgive each other in due time and not let it destroy their relationships, and I'm sure they do, or else they wouldn't have remained together for so long. How much would the others dread it, that really depends exactly how angry one is, there are different degrees of anger, but to offer possibilities:
*Leonardo: they'd likely worry about him and will either be submissive, maybe just roll their eyes in disgust, let him be, keep an eye on him, or Raphael might try lecturing him.
*Raphael: they're probably pretty used to it, it's just when his anger comes to the outside and gets physical that they gotta worry and either hold him back, ask him to calm down, or let him be so he can blow it off.
*Donatello: they're probably NOT pretty used to it, so they might be a bit surprised and will most likely let him be...if he got to the point of lashing out like Raphael, likely one of the reactions listed for him will come up, which also includes just letting him be.
*Michaelangelo: again may not be used to it, but if he should, they either might ask him to calm down, just let it off thinking it's a joke, unless he got physical in which case they might do anything listed for Raphael or lecture him like Leonardo; they'll most likely let him be to sort it out on it's own.

I voted Don (you should, too, Sage)!

I was going to vote Leo ... but then I remembered that the others were just kind of annoyed at him when he freaked out at them in "Dragon's Rising." They weren't really scared or intimidated; Don and Raph talked back to him. It would be shocking to have our "protector" freak out at you, but I think worse could happen because the Turtles aren't totally dependent on Leonardo.

If Raph got angry -- they're all used to it. It would only freak them out if he got violent (and even then, not too much.)

I think the others might be used to Mike getting angry, too, although we don't see much of it onscreen. He's a feeling type, and I can imagine him getting pissed off or mopey. The others would probably just try to cheer him up.

But Don ... yeah, Don is always so self-contained and graceful. He's a brilliant, secretive introvert. If he were upset, I'd be afraid of what he might do. Not because I actually think Don would hurt anyone, but ... if Don can lose control of himself, anything is possible. ;)

yes, but Leo wasn't mad at them he was agnsting over him not being able to protect them, and that scene where he chews them all a new one was just his frustration of him thinkoing they wheren't doing enough to stop the bad guys. And the other turtles knew it, so they sort of where like "yeah whatever" with Leo during that whole time when he was acting all fereral.

However I wasn't talking about being angry in general I was talking about if a situation came up where one of the turtles was angry to the point where they wheren't talking to the others. Not petty every day disagreements or out bursts of temper of: "who touched my punch bag"! or "Ahhh, you pulled the plug on my video game before I reached the high score! YOU DIE NOW!", or "grr, you screwed up my experiment! Get out! GET OUT!" Where the responce would be, look relax I'm sorry, or simply leaving them alone to cool off for a few hours. No I'm talking about the sort of situation where one of them becomes really offended and angry at the other's that's a big deal. And I knowthat the turtles are a family and that they have traits that are important and that nothing really could probably make one of them angry enough at the others that would cause a rift or a strain to weaken the close bond with each other, but for the sake of argument which one would it be?

I just want a deeper look at how the turtles act and behave toward each other and who the turtles act with more reserve and who they act with more relaxed air.

but my two cents, I think alot of fans take Donatello's easy going personality the wrong way and think that he never gets mad. In the new show he has shown times of being grumpy and grouchy and even angry, and I didn't see any thing out of character about that. In fact I noticed that in the new toon when Donatello is in a bad mood or upset, the others turtles don't try to provoke him and even act with a certain amount wariness around him. Like they don't want to push his buttons, and don't want hik to be angry at them. in fact out of all of them Donatello seems to be the one that every has the most tolerance for when he is in a bad mood. Which leads me to think that they would feel the most uncomfertable or panicked if they acciendtly crossed the line with him and he wasn't speaking to them. Donatello just comes across to me as some one who wouldn't put up with certain B.S and the turtles know it and wouldn't want to get him to a point where his their relationship with him would be i jeapordy. Because the realtionship with him would be the hardest to to get back to normal ther wise.

I'd say Raph is the obvious. I mean he tried to bash Mikey's head in with a pipe just because he was losing a sparing match. His anger in the new film caused him to kick the crap out of Leo and break his swords.

Yeah he feels bad about it later but while he's doing it he has no remorse or mercy.

yeah Raphael is scarey when he is angry, and you would think Mikey would know better than to provoke him when he is angry. However I think the other turtles are used to his anger and know that his bouts of anger (although brutal and violent) are short lived and that he would not hold them accountable for setting him off. Actually since Raphael cares so deeply for his family I think it would have to take some thing pretty messed up to have Raphael not talk to his family and not want anything to do with them. Like considering how sencetive Raphael is when he wants to do something in a battle situation and no one el;se was to go along with what he wants, I could see Raphael holding a grudge against his brothers and not talking to them if the situation ended in tragidy and it could have been prevented if they had gone along with what he wanted to do. Like how he was bitterlly angry and not talking to Leonardo in the Same As it Never Was episode when it was alluded to that Leofell back because Splinter told him to, and got killed as a result and Raphael wanted to stay and save him. I could see Raphael getting bitter toward the other turtles if a simliar situation went down like that. In a situation like that I think Leonardo and perhaps Michaelangelo would be the most devistated and panicked over Raphael being angry at them and feel the most urgancy to make things right and have him forgive them.

With Leonardo, it's hard to picture him getting angry at his brothers to a point where he would become bitter toword them and not talk to them. Since he is so much into his family and protecting them. However I think all three would have an uneasiness of crossing the line with Leo and damaging there relationship with him because they all to some degree rely on him so much. However I think Raphael would be the most freaked out by it since he has such a close relationship with Leonardo.

I already covered Donatello but I can actually picture some thing of a more domestic situation that could set him off and make thing sour with him and his brothers. Mikey, Leo, and Raph seem to give Don alot of space and seem unwilling to tick him off. And I've noticed that when he does become annoyed every seems more tolerant of it than with any other turtle.

With Mikey, I think he is the one turtle that none of the other turtles seem to fear losing their close relationship with or think they could ever cross the line with him to get him angry at them to the point where he would be harsh or cold toward them. I think all three feel the most comfertable around him to say what ever or do what ever they want around him (sometimes to him) and not fear losing him. I think because of Mikey's blase attitude that they figure that even if they do go over borad with him that he'll get over it fairly quickly or just brush it off. Which he generally does. I've noticed there doesn't seem to be any boundaries with Leo, Don, and Raph relationship with Mikey like they they have with each other. They are completely comfertable around him. I think he is the least feared of the turtles of ever losing their close bond with him. To the point that I think they almost take it for granted. :o On Mikey's end I think he he on a subconscinece level he fears losing the closness he has with his brothers because he loves them so much, and shows that he jates having them angry at him (even though he annoys them all the time) but I notice he seems less likely to annoy Leo and Don than Raph, so I guess he feels most comfertable of not crossing the line with Raph than Leo and Don. However I thi k he would be the most devastated if Leoanrdo where to come angry with him and maybe stop talking to him.

Bumping this again.

I don't really know who to say. I guess I was having trouble imagining any of the Turtles being genuinely furious at all the others. So I took it a step further and imagined one of them going "evil." I think this would really traumatize the brothers, whomever was turned. But I still think they would be most freaked out if Donatello turned. His pure detached genius would make him a very creepy bad guy.

I have a feeling that if Mike went evil, the others would be able to go more serious anyway, because they had lost the happy brother, and they would become more violent and able to fight back against him. If it was Raph ... well, it's not much of a stretch, heh. Although they would still feel horribly hurt and betrayed. And I think that Don, Raph and Mike feel a little separated from Leo anyway, because he's so ... perfect or something. So Leo turning evil would really upset them, and they would be less cohesive and united, but I still don't think it would be as freaky as Don.

Sorry I didn't really answer the question ...

Since Leonardo is the leader, I have a feeling that it would be most devastating to the team if the other three thought the one in charge was upset at them. With Raphael, it's expected. With Michelangelo and Donatello it would seem odd, but it wouldn't be as damaging if it was Leonardo, who usually seems the most level headed and peaceful one.

I'd say Mikey because he tends to be more laid back and you'd have to do something really bad to upset him and it would be so against his character for him to be angry with you.

That's true, especially of Mirage, old movie, and OT Mikey ...

hmm, I didn't really pose the question in mind of one of the turtles turning "evil" just getting to a point where they are angry and not talking to them. And yeah it is tough to immagine any of the turtles genuanly furious with the other brothers. That is why I asked the question, because they are so close nit and have such strong and diffrent personalites and a reltionship that is not just of brothers but also as ninjas which occassinally tainted by competiveness. That you have to wonder how exactly with such volitle diffrences do these guys deal with their own anger. And in close relationships even siblings, people get angry and offended at each other which put strains on their relationships. In fact I think the closer you are to some one the more likely you are to offend or anger each other and have periods of strife than those you aren't as close too. In fact I think it's more likely in the turtles situation since they are so dependent on each other that they would encounter issues.

As for the whole one turtle turning evil thing and turning on the others? I can't see that happening, I don't think any of the turtle could be fully conscience and deleberately evil with the intent to harm the other three turtles; unless said turtle was not in his right mind for some reason. Like if he was being controlled or something traumatic happened to make him snap and go crazy. In which case I don't see the other three turtles becoming so detached that they would kill him or fully hate him for it, more than anything I think they would want to help him out or save him from himself.

I'd say Mikey because he tends to be more laid back and you'd have to do something really bad to upset him and it would be so against his character for him to be angry with you.

Like I said I don't think the other turtles ever think they could cross the line with Mikey to make him act coldly toward them. He's the only turtle I think all the other turtles feel the most comfertable around with out fear of losing Mikey's affection not matter how they act toward him. I don't think even Mikey thinks he could get to the point where he would not be his loveable goofy self around his brothers. I don't think Mikey shows his anger, or at least I think he is less likely to even more so than Donatello to show out ward anger. Unless it's over something trival and stupid. I think Mikey takes a conscience effert to stay light hearted around his brothers and purposesly ignores and brushes aside negative treatment. Don at least (even though not likely to get angry often) will probably not let crap tossed his way slide, and he would let you know it. But Mikey I think he has a tendacy to let things slide, since I think he is unconfertable with both confrontation and anger. I think he would have to be seriosuly provoked to get truly angry at his brothers. But since he is so laid back I can't really picture a scenario where that could happen.

interesting topic it would be really something if one of the the turtles became angry at his three brothers, not something we are likely to ever see illistrated but it would certainly be a mind blowing experience if it ever happened in the show. As to what exactly which turtle would the other brothers feel the most scared of having their relationship damaged if they where really mad at them? Isn't the easiest question to answer. I guess you could look at it from the angle, what does each brother bring to the relationship that the others would hate to lose?

Some one mentioned that the others let it go when Don gets a little grumpy and seem like they don't want to rile him. What would the other three brothers loose from Don if he got mad at them? His level headedness, his calm nice personalty, his technological knowledge. It was pretty much shown in SAINW that with Don gone and his clear hear head no longer around the brothers drifted apart.

I'd have to pick Donetello. He's the most level headed of the group in my opinion. He doesn't get into petty quarrels with his brothers like the others do. But I keep remembering the time in the 2k3 toon when Raph went to crack a joke at him and Donny was not in the mood. He just gave Raph a look, and that was more than enough to stop Raph in his tracks. If Donny can get that kind of a reaction from Raph, who I think is the most fearless of the four, could you imagine what they all would feel if he flew off the handle?

In that particular episode Raph wasn't joking with Don he was about to bitch at him for not fixing the water heating system. but he did shut up when Don glared at him, I couldn't see Raph shutting up if it was Leo or Mikey. I think that says alot. If the show ever played around with the dynamics of the brothers relationship by making one of them angry at the others, it would make for a very intense story arc.

I think what Raph brings to his brothers is his protectiveness and loyality. He's a prickly guy but he loves his family more than anything, and I think what the others would be afraid to lose if their relationship with Raph was damaged because he was angry at them, is that gruff affection he showers them with.

With Mikey, it's pretty hard to imagine him angry enough to feel hurt and distanced by his brothers. Mikey's the kind of guy you can do anything too and he would forgive you and things would continue like nothing happened. And I think thats what mikey brings to his brothers. Emotional security. Things might change and get rough but they can always count on Mikey to act the same no matter what happen around them and they can joke with him, yell at him, or pick on him and he'll never act diffrently toward you. I think the others would hate to lose what Mikey brings to their relationship.

With leo, Leo is another one thats hard to picture angry with his brothers. He may be harsh with them but it's all because he loves and wants them safe. Leo brings stabilty to his brothers and with out that I think the turtles would be a mess because they rely on him so much. He takes personaly responciably for all of them and makes things easier on them. I think the turtles would be devisated if they lost that from leo because they screwed up and made him angry at them.

I voted for Leonardo. I'm suprised so many have voted for Donatello :-? Don is the mild mannered gentleman of the group. It's one of the qualites I like about him he's to passive to get riled up. Sure he might get annoyed and grouchy but I don't see him getting resentfully angry at any one. Mikey...Mikey is just a push over. I don't see him ever getting angry at his brothers and even if he did, he wouldn't have the guts to do anything about it. And even if he did the others would just brush him off any way. But then Don and Mikey are both the laid back turtles, they don't have the same deep emotions and passions as Leo and Raph do. There're the ones that are most likely to feel the deep resentful anger and lash out when they have it.

I think Leo is the one that the turtles would be the most uncomfertable if he where to get angry. Especially Raph even though he wouldn't admit it. Raph is used to being angry and being pissed at leo and having leo deal with it but I think it would really floor him if Leo ever got mad it him and his brother collectively, because i think Raph and the other know that for lion hearted "I'll die for my family" Leo was angry at them it would not go back to normal with him easily.

**sigh** you know I'm getting a little tired of the whole Leo and Raph are so passionate and vibriant and Don and Mikey are so passive and dull mentallity. Just because Don and Mikey are less likely to get angry and resentful than the other two doesn't mean they couldn't. Actually I think because they are more passive and mellow would give a stronger impact if they did become angry. Just think SAINW when Mikey first appeared, that had a real sobering effect on the situation.

they wheren't talking back so much as they where just calmly interjecting to Leo that they wheredoing the best they could and wheren't screwing up as baddly as Leo was ranting about. Actually the way leo flipped out on them really pissed me off.
