26 min. in you can hear Rob Paulsen talk about his extensive career and even hear 'Drome regular Ivey there too (lucky duck).

That said to say this: I want Rob Paulsen to know that he is Raphael to me. I fell in love with the Turtle who would be my life long favorite due to his portrayal in the original. His quick sardonic wit made Raphael the funniest turtle (sorry Mikey but sarcasm > surfer dude any day.) So this thread is dedicated to the greatness that is Robert Paulsen. I'd give my right arm for a chance to sit down with this man and just talk about voice acting. From Raph, to Yakko, Pinky, P.J., Steelbeak, and others Rob has been an idol of mine for years. Him, Frank Welker (Tokka and Rahzar in TMNT 2), Tress McNeille (Kala) and others make me light up. So again thank you Rob Paulsen for being Raphael for kids (and kids at heart) all across the world. Wish you'd have done all 10 seasons, cause the episodes without you make me sad. (Though luckily Raph seldom talks in some of the earlier "sick days."

Man I wonder if he'll see this and if I'll come across as a psycho.

I don't think he'll see you as a psycho. Just watch the Season 5 OT DVD extra about the voice actors for the Turtles themselves. It's suprising to him and the others how much their roles as the Turtles really did affect lives for the better. It also makes them very proud of their roles on the OT.

So, if Rob does see this, I'm guessing that he'll probably be touched by it.

Great stuff but one mistake she's not a regular she only comes on when she's being talked about.
Rob seems like a great guy.

Sadly, I have to disagree, Rob Paulsen will ALWAYS be Yakko Warner to me. He was great with that role.

Thanks for posting that link! I love Rob Paulsen, and whenever I hear his voice in something else, I always think of Raphael.

Oh man!... I gotta see that ep!! Thank the gods NBC and the other major networks put their shows online streamed! Unfortunatly none of the season 7 eps are up yet. Darn. :/

The first time I saw Rob on tv that wasn't animated was McGyver. He played a bad guy named Rogers in the ep "Ugly Duckling" (incidentally James Saito *movie shredder* was in the McGyver pilot ep as a member of a villiage McGyver was saving)

Jo, I noticed Josh Pais (Movie Raph) in this Thursdays episode, but not Rob Paulsen.

Oh.. it was Josh Pais? He's been on like nearly all the Law and Order shows. Course he can be seen daily in that one ad where he's at an auction and buys a carpet (or is it a painting? ) then wants to sell it again....

Rob has voiced TWO of my fave toon characters over the years: Raph from the original series, and Throttle from the Biker Mice From Mars series. (In fact, he's voicing him in the 2k6, revamped verison of that series that's still running overseas at the moment. Rick Ungar wanted the ORIGINAL voice-cast for that, and he GOT 'em! VERY cool, sez I..........)

No prob. Bought Duck Tales vol. 3 today. Rob was in the episode I'm watching right now, as Gladstone Gander, one of the many nephews of Scrooge McDuck, in the episode "Dime Enough for Luck." Made Duck Tales, one of my favorite childhood shows that much more enjoyable. (He was also the voice of the foreman of Scrooge's copper mine in "Ar-hen-tina.")

Man, it's so hard to narrow down what Rob's most memorable character has been. There's just to many to list! Heck, I even remember him as Gusto Gummy!

He had a lot of funny bit parts on my favorite crazy show, "Freakazoid," too.
OH, and he defined greatness as Robin Food on "Codename: Kids Next Door."

I hadn't realized it before, but he's in ALL of my favorite cartoons... Could it be coincidence?... Who knows, CUE THE MUSIC!

"Robin Food, Robin Food, not your average thieving dude...."

Rob Paulsen is my favourite voice actor of all time. Everytime I hear his voice it reminds of Raphael.

Raphael, The Mask, Mighty Max, Pinky and Yakko were all great characters, and Paulsen did a great job voicing them.

Ditto. Rob Paulsen, Steve Blum, and Kevin Conroy pretty much made my childhood through the characters they voiced.

Don't forget Pat Fraley, Maurice Lamarche, Tress MacNeil and the incomparable Frank Welker.

Ahhh, the memories...few things in my life can compare to the sheer joy I got from growing up with classic cartoons that actually had depth and story...:D:D:D
