If you have the DVDs, or have seen it a million times already, I don't see why you would feel bad about missing it.
It's on in 40 min. for me, so I guess that's something to do while I do other stuff.

Must draw good ratings with them showing them so much over the last few months. Would be great if Disney would get the license and make another show so we can see the turtles go back to being dark as a cartoon. Disney did a great job with Gargoyles. They showed real gun use and sometimes blood. Really surprised me as a kid that it came from Disney.

I have a feeling Disney doesn't have it in them at this point for a darker cartoon.
Isn't the current cartoon enough? From what I've seen it had a more serious tone than the 1987 cartoon.

Out of the millions of animated series Disney was ever responsible for, Gargoyles was a one-of-a-kind. It's safe to say that Disney will ever be that violent again. But, my opinion on it is that if Turtles was reimagined in the image of Gargoyles, I would be less inclined to watch for the fact that it's too one-sided. While Disney usually thinks in techni-color, they switched to black and white for that one. Variety and depth just aren't Disney's strong points (though they worked a miracle with the Aladdin series).
