This line...really bugging me:

One of the Purple Dragons: Nobody messes with the Purple Dragons, especially wearing stupid Turtle costumes

It really bugs me for some reason. It should be especially ONES wearing stupid turtle costumes...

Just thought I would share that...bugs me every time I watch it.

its like saying:
Nobody wearing stupid turtle costumes messes with the purple dragons. It works.

Now, is he had said, "No punks mess with the purple dragons, especially wearing stupid turtle costumes" then sure, you could say "ones" might fit. But, for the purposes of the line he said, according to how you typed it, it does fit the way it is.

Heh, I seriously doubt any of those guys are English majors. And no offense, but if I say the line out loud both ways (theirs and yours), adding "ones" makes it a bit awkward.

The only thing that agitated me was calling Turtle Comms 'shell cells'. And that's something I easily got over.

It doesn't bug me at all, because it's a tip-of-the-hat to the first Mirage comic. That is almost word-for-word what the gang members on the first issue of TMNT say.

The "Shell Cells" seemed kinda silly the first time to me. Easily forgiven, cos that scene is hilarious. I don't think the new show is perfect. It's just damn near perfect. But not everyone can be happy with the same thing.

The first one was just like an introduction, and a fine one at that. It introduces most of the important charcaters (TMNT, Splinter, Shredder, aka Saki, the Foot). Not too mention gave us something to wait for next week.

What i would like to know is, did the leader of Purple Dragon die? I guess we will know next saturday. If he is not mentioned again, he is dead...

originally i didn't think he would die, but i've read some spoilers and in other episodes they say that hun is the leader of the purple dragons. so i guess he is dead :o

Yeah, I read that about Hun. Since the Dragons and the Foot are connected, maybe Shredder sent Hun to take the place of the dead leader, and make sure they don't screw up again?
