You know,
If Jefferey Scott came up with the script ideas on his own, I wish they had brought him in about 3 years sooner.
With the somewhat 'stiff' animation of the original series, the super dark 1994 season didn't really fit the show. The Shredder/Leo sword 'fight' of the episode 'Get Shredder', being an example.. When it got to 1995, it was dull beyond reasoning. But when it got to 1996, it became fun again, which is amazing considering the show was ten years old by that point. It was a perfect blend of what 1994 probably tried to do, and with great fluid looking animation to boot, compared to the stiffness of 1994, and the cheapness of 1995.
If only Saturday morning wasn't dead by then, it probably could have gone on for two more 8 episode seasons.
