Im trying to find a Ninja Turtle picture to put on a T-shirt for someone. It can be any turtle or all four. What would look good on a T-shirt or even what have you seen that looks good on one?!

It really depends on what your looking for.

Here are some ideas.

After seeing the new April art on Murphy's blog, I'm convinced making your own t-shirt is going to be the best way to go to get what you want.

I made this one for myself a couple months ago:

And I'm finishing up the design on this hoodie right now:

And I'm also playing with an old toon idea, but it involves drawing, which I seriously lack skillz in. :P

Ok, here's my crappy toon art:

I just clicked on that link to see some ideas and I have to say, I'm loving that 300 one.

Here it is:
http://www.davidcsimon.com/pub/4tmnt.jpg

It could use some editing but I love the concept (I could so see Raph taking on all those guys and I like that Don is in the front). And Roseangelo, I'm digging that hoodie. And your old toon Mike drawing isn't bad at all.

I would also love to see a nice wave of TMNT related shirts (not that the ones out now aren't great and all) but I'd prefer a more, what's the word...perhaps refined look. And yes, it'd be cool to see movie art make its way as well as the comic art onto shirts.

Roseangelo- The image on that hoodie, I've never seen it before. Could you post/link to a close up/enlarged version of it, so I can see it clearly?

It's a painting by AC Farley. Very, very awesome.

And I am officially addicted to Zazzle.

Yes, I have two t-shirts, both of which I love.

This (http://www.flickr.com/photos/roseangelo/912602703/in/set-72157601014317842/) is one of the t-shirts.

This is a mock-up of the other:

I don't have a picture of the actual thing yet, but it's nice!

The thing is like we talked about on ryan and steves blog Rose is that I want to know how well they print color images on shirts.
Because as we spoke about I use cafepress.com right now and they suck big time.

Well, define suck. I have some CafePress shirts that have turned out just fine.

I'll see if I can take a decent pic of the Leo shirt.

Things printed crooked, things printed hazey, colors aren't correct.
That suck enough for ya?
and I know what I'm doing because I do this stuff for a living...my eyes are glued to photoshop almost 24-7 lol

Yeah, that'd be no good. I haven't seen any of that, though. :ohwell:

Here's the Leo shirt from Zazzle (not the best pic, but it might still help):

Yes and yes!

When I scrape together the change to buy the hoodie I posted up towards the top I'll be putting their color on dark clothes printing to the test.

Very good and can you place image anywhere on the shirt would be my other question. Like say I want an image at the bottom of the shirt.

Well, there's a limited printing area, but you can determine where in that printing area your picture goes.

You can resize your image within the design tool, too...

I came up with this while goofing with the coffee mugs last night:
