View Full Version : Was Ninjara only in Furrlough #47, 48 and 52?

So I got ahold of Furrlough #47, 48 and 52 but was a bit disappointed that 52 ends with "to be continued".

Wikipedia says she was only in those three issues, but it's Wikipedia...

So, did the story end unresolved or did it get continued in more issues?

Those are the only issues. The story was never completed.

Aw nuts.

Well, thanks!

Odd. Furrlough's still in publication; I wonder what made Chris Allen drop the story?

Pretty much just life and the lack of time to commit to it. He has a comment about it on his website.

I know this isn't directly related to the conversation, but seeing as how I just picked up this cover, and it contains our favorite femme fatale, in what I think is a very cool cover, I thought I'd share (and fyi, its from Archie #67) :)

The Ninjara Furrlough stuff is pretty gritty, too... Ninjara visibly hacking off humans' limbs and such.

How much on average can one expect to pay for these issues of Furrlough?

I paid between $4 and $7 for each issue.

If you can find them! I snagged the third part for a small sum, and waited for weeks/months to see the earlier two issues show up on eBay... they never did, but I snagged a lot that included them along with 6 other issues in it for like $7.

So it's basically a matter of luck to find them at a decent price? It's good to know either way. I really liked Ninjara, and plus it would be nice to have a couple of yiff mags around the house.

It's a matter of luck to find them at all.

Quite disappointing. Lady Luck and I don't exactly see eye-to-eye.

I'm disappointed by the sounds of it not likely ever getting finished. My icon is actually from the comic. I really want the actual comics too. Lady Luck is a harsh mistress.

I thought I'd post a scan of the cover though, if this is against the rules, I apologize.

If you don't have the actual issues, where did you get your scans?

I'm fairly certain that's a topic I shouldn't discuss. :)

So, since we are getting all those endings to previously unfinished comics (Volume 3, Forever War) can't we get an ending and reprint (with censore maybe?) for this too?

In that comic Ninjara had a daughter with Mokoshan name Moka, Which makes her daughter a half fox half wolf hybrid.

I'm sure some of those were busted during your research on the topic.

Maybe people can stop asking me to scan my copies for free, as if that's a worthwhile use of my time (among the legalities).

I think there will be at least 1 or 2 pleasant surprises about Archie TMNT to come beyond Forever War.

Interesting title for the series. I guess we can say Ninjara and her buddies got Furrloughed, eh?

Just for a decade or two.
