I did one of these for Rob Paulsen and now I'm gonna do one for the voice of our most beloved disembodied brain.
I do this because he seems like a very nice guy. You see, this Christmas I wasn't sure what to get my best friend from college. It dawned on me that the biggest reason we are friends is our similar interests, one of which being voice acting. I had been to Pat's site before and saw that he had CDs and work books for those who wanted to break into the glorious world of doing voices for a living. I looked through the catalog for something in my price range that would be helpful and had it sent to Bob. Bob listened to it all in one day, no lie. He even e-mailed Pat, since Mr. Fraley offers it at the end of the CD for questions. I even sent Pat an e-mail thanking him for being a willing source of help for us armatures. And then he replied back! that shocked me. What shocked me even more was he sent me a gift, a complete and unabridged copy of him reading "The Adventures of Huckleberry Finn" and a signed note thanking me for being such a kind friend to Bob. Man, Pat Fraley is something else.
