Movie Star Turtles FIGURES

do you guys like these figures? i found them to be the best out of everything, well, exept the DOTS on LEO and DON.....i took a pic of mine,, I also painted their weapons.. Im thinking of painting their eyes all white? should I?

Because their weapond are painted they truly look like the movie versions
You can still paint the tape on Donatello's Bo staff white

Leave the eyes, the movie turtles had pupils, so I would leave them the way they are.

Raph and Mike have spots to only less noticeable, maybe you can re-paint the spots on Leo and Don

yam was thinking of repainting them,, but dont wanna mess up..
Im just gonna use one of DONS boes from the new figures since it comes with 2!, would be cool to have 2 of each of the new weapons so i can replace these ones

I did paint my set though. Not totally, just the shelles, and made real leather belts and weapons for Mike and Don. I don't have Leo of this set though. *sai*

Yeah, I thought they were cool when I had 'em. I never got the Donatello figure
though. I liked how rubbery their skin was...their weapons and stuff were cool.

It's also fun because you can take their appendages off easily and mix them up, i.e. put the head on the leg joint :lol:

I agree that these were the best set of turtles they made. I'm also really liking the TMNT: New Mutation set as well. Once I start my turtle toy collection, the Movie Star set is the first I'm going to get. By the way, anyone have any tips for me on starting my collection? Maybe where to buy 'em, or what to buy, or what to spend? I was just gonna' do EBay, but maybe someone has a better idea.

Ebay's a great idea. You can get lots of turtle toys MOC, and for much cheaper than online retailers or collectors.

the movie star turtles are getting up there in price at times,, but if your lucky, u can get teh set for like 45

The Movie figures were always my favorite Turtles. I love the look, I love the feel. They were the only Turtles that were allowed to drive my Turtle Van.

I still have those four Movie Turtles, and I would never part with them. Those figures were ahead of their time.

I was looking through Ebay last night, and across someone seeling the Movie Star turtles separately. Each one had a starting price of $45 each. That;s far too much for me to pay.
