The Lost Season episodes begin 02/09/08. Figured I would ask this to see just how many of us have seen the LS episodes. As we approach the American TV premiere of the LS episodes, I wonder what pertcentage of us will be experiencing the season for the first time. Vote!!!

*EDIT: I'm sure all of us has seen 'Membership Drive' on TV since 4kidsTV aired it last year. So don't take that into consideration when answering the poll. I'm talking about all the other LS episodes.

Reminder on when these are airing in the US please? Either way I think I'll just end up waiting for them on dvd. Might catch a few on tv. I've seen about half of them. Seemed mediocre.

I purposely didn't watch the Lost season torrents because I wanted to save something "new" for myself this year.

This way at least these episodes will be brand new to me while for a lot of other people its another 8 months of reruns. So yes, this will be my first time seeing them.

I've seen them all once on the small, grainy screen of YouTube, but I want to see them aired on TV with big, clear and crisp images. So, yes, I'm still very much anticipating to watch them.

I saw them all. I reall enjoyed them too. only one specific aspect was questionable to me but overall, I thought it was great how the writers wrapped several different things from the previous seasons together to form an entirely new conflict.

I'm with Leo. Mystic-- I've watched them on the tiny YouTube screen-- and I am certainly looking forward to seeing them on my nice tv.

A note on the 'Tube's screen. Guess folks haven't realised the "small screen" can be enlarged.

As for watching the Lost Season, yes I have seen it already. Not sure if I'll watch it on TV, but definately going to get the DVD when it comes.

Seen most of them online, but I can't WAIT to see them on the big(ger) screen... :D

watched them (Thanks to torrents) even have makeshift DVDs that will be replaced with the officials once they hit the market. No way I'm watching it on TV....work prohibits that. I may watch the DVDs again sometime though.

Seen them on On Demand and Youtube, but the only one I've rewatched so far is Fathers and Sons, so they'll still be mostly fresh and newish when I see them again.

I watched the ones On Demand; refused to watch them on Youtube. That's stealing.

I refused to watch them on YouTube as well... because the inferior picture quality would make them less interesting. So, I got the R4 DVD. I'll catch 'em again with the DVR though.

Oh my haha I can the animation was really poor. Mainly the backgrounds took a bit hit it seems.

Saw it on Youtube, but I still want to see it on TV/DVD. I will buy the DVD (so is it really stealing since I saw it on Youtube and I'm still going ot buy the DVD?)

Why is "Membership Drive" not included?

It may be my least favorite episode of the season, but it is not bad. It is in the AU/NZ box set.

Read the whole part on that. It's not included in the vote, as it was aired on 4Kids (just like with the ep. "Ninja Tribunal", which is likely to be part of the DVD Set as well).

And if it IS really stealing-- is there a REWARD for snitching?:lol::lol:

Okay, yeah, I caved in and watched them on YouTube months ago :D

However, my husband decided he could be patient, and has only seen "Membership Drive" (but before it aired on TV. While I was watching the eps on YouTube I was so excited to see that Nano finally got a happy ending that I made him watch that one again with me. Nano's sad fate had been bothering us for years).

I bought them from Austalia and fixed a DVD player to be region zero so I could watch them, it was a pain but it was worth it

Well, in all honesty, even though it wasn't the best we've seen, I've seen WAAAAY crappier than that in my life.

Oh I agree, some animes I've been submitted to like torture come to mind.

The thing is I watch toons on my HDTV which is widescreen. The good shows look amazing and the colors are very rich. In some cases they look even better despite being wider then usual.

If an episode is already pixelated on my computer, which is 19 inches*Also HD* then on my TV*Which is 32 inches* I know it's going to look bad. I took quality into account. It's just the backgrounds simply weren't made large enough. That or the Aussie DVD just looks bad. Which is very possible.

The Season One re-release set looks 100 times better then the first releases of season one. The same goes for the FF DVDs, which is where they started I believe. The FF disks look better then the Season 4 one. So I look forward to the new sets even more simply because the quality is so much better.

Early on I watched the first episode or two online, but decided to stop and just wait for the TV release. Spoilers have been rife but I've avoided them as much as possible... this season may be a disappointment (from what I hear), but I'd rather see it on the TV first. That way I can at least entertain myself by analyzing why it does/does not disappoint (visually, at least).

I've seen some of them online. However, it's been awhile since I've seen what I have seen so it'll be mostly new to me.

Not only have I seen all of the Lost Season, but I own the box set, obtained at my local Myers center in Australia. I haven't regretted it at all, to be honest. It's something that made my love for TMNT flare up like a rash again, so I can't be mad at it.

Oh, visually I'd say it's spot-on. :) You know those episodes of the 2k3 series that are weird and angular-looking (eg. I Monster, Exodus Part 2, Adventures in Turtle-Sitting... um can't think of others right now), versus the ones where everything is rounded and pretty (eg. Grudge Match, Good Genes)? The Lost Season is all the second one. :)

Hm, sounds good. Also I look forward to dissecting the animation in my head. Chances are there'll be some solid stuff and some not-so-solid stuff, just like any regular season.

sidenote: I recently saw the season trailer on the 4Kids site and it made me so excited. Sure, a lot of it looks kinda like the anime-type "powerup!!" nonsense people have complained about, but I got goosebumps anyway. I suppose that's some kudos to the person who edited that sucker. :)

there are some parts where you can blatantly tell that it is recycled animation. In Lap of the Gods there is a scene where Leo is screaming while getting attacke by some fire demon and they show it twicew for another scene. It was pretty obvious.

They did this through out the series. Splinter fighting the foot ninja's in "The Shredder Strikes Back" is from "The Shredder Strikes". Some of "City at War" and "The Shreddder Strikes" is pre-used. So that's not a big deal.
