well they don't look too great, although their still pretty good. maybe the finished versions will be better. and are my eyes decieving me or are april's joints non-ball-jointed? :evil: casey looks ok and so does hun (although he looks a bit fat :lol: ) but what the hell is that robot beside saki??? it looks hideous :dead:

but nonetheless, they're ok . . . i just want my turtles for now though :evilgrin:

Wow. Took me 15 posts until someone finally had a problem with me. Anyways, so are you trying to say paint will change the whole fig? If that's the final mold, which I would assume it is, even with the greatest paint job in the world I'd still rather have the old Casey fig.

Well, I must say I'm not excited by those. Casey looks weak and the nose on his mask is huge.

So far (based purely on the scultpures and not the paint jobs) I'd say the four Turtles and Shredder are excellent, Splinter and Hun are okay, the Foot Soldier, April and Casey are weak. Playmates can do better than this.

But I'll probably buy them all anyway. :)

I think the best of what they've shown us from wave 2, is the pic of the robot. That robot kicks ass ;)
the foot cruiser is sorta cool, nice to show they're tributing the old line by using old names and incorporating old stuff into the new line. Just like motu is doing, if you don't know what the original foot cruiser was, it was bascially the toy version of the neutrino ship but purple and black. One of my favorite toys from the old line. Makes we want to cry :cry: with happiness :) :goofygri:

Not bad, for prototypes. We'll have to wait for the full coloured versions (which shouldn't be too long, if Playmates is attending Toy Fair...)

Dude (or Dudette :-?), just go to figures.com & look at their 2003 Toy Fair coverage. They have a section on Playmates & show full-color versions of Casey, Hun & April, as well as the Foot Jet-bike thingy (think the Psycho-Cycle from the old line, only with blades instead of hovery discs for "wheels").

As far as I'm concerned, people shouldn't be like "Saw un-painted prototype- he sucks. BURN HIM!! :evilgrin: ", until they actually see the finished product in the store, or read a detailed review on the figure on some website.

Patience duders & dudettes, things can always change between now & their release date. If they still suck in your eyes once you see them, then that rocks. :D

Thanks for the pics Darth_Raphael. As I said earlier, I'd rather have the old Casey. Now no one will trash my opinion seeing as how we have the fully painted version before us. Anyways, Hun looks pretty good, and so does April, but I love the lil' Mousers she comes with.

Hun is an awesome looking figure. My fav looking bad guy so far.

Casey looks much more realistic now, compared to his toon-looking brother from TMNTG1. A must-have action figure.

Hun is hella cool with that paint job, and I'm even sold on April now. The Mousers clinched it. :)

Still don't like the sculpt on Casey, but he looks better with the gear on. I guess the nose on the mask is so big because his face has to fit into it but it bothers me.

The Shell Cel looks pretty cool. I wonder if those plastic face cards have a chip in them like the Simpsons toys do, so they all say something different when you plug them in. That would be cool.

I agree with the guy/gal though who commented on teh size of Hun...it's gonna weigh a lot!

I'm definitely going to be picking up all these toys...sooo worth it. I still actually have my old Turtle Comm in my room. That would be REALLY cool if they had the voice chips.

Only sucky thing is that we have to wait till April/May/June/July or whenever the release is...which is kinda weird beacuse they're just going to have Wave 1 sitting on the toy shelves for the next 2 months.

I'm totally sold on April and Casey.. I love the way they look. Hun looks cool too, but Im not sure I have room for him.. HE'S BIGGER THAN AN XBOX!!! (jk lol) Im looking forward to the playset, I hope I can fit most of the TMNT Toy Collection I buy in to it... (Im 23, so I tend to buy toys just to pose them and look at them later)

The extreme turtles aggravate Slash its bad enough they made Raph a fruit-looper (roller blader) and those outfit are so lame they could have just made them plain (Masks, Belts, & Pads) but with better articulation
