Mirage Crew at New York ComicCon '08

Hey! I just wanted to know if any of you are going to attend the upcoming Comic-Con in NY April 18-20. My brother and I plan on going to visit the Mirage Crew. This will be my first Comic-Con I will be attending. Hope to meet some turtles fans there!:)

Peter Laird, Jim Lawson, Eric Talbot, Steve Murphy, Michael Dooney and Dan Berger will be attending. Thats a good amount!:P

How confirmed is it that Peter will be there? He has a history of hmmming and hawing about it till the last minute, and I'd hate to make the trip out to meet him for him not to be there.

Its on the front page of the official turtles website. I guess thats how confirmed it will be.:ohwell: I never knew he had a history of doing that. At least the others from the Mirage team will be there.

Peter doesn't have any problems autographing things that Kevin already autographed does he? I have something Kevin autographed for me a few years back and I'd love to get the second creator autograph.

I don't think I can be there though so I would rather wait and meet him in person than trying to send it to someone and get it signed by proxy.

From my experience Kevin is the one who cancels at the last minute, at least on the east coast. I've been to two conventions, Mid-ohio con and the Detroit con, where he was scheduled to appear and didn't show up. Oh well!
I met the mirage crew (minus kevin) in Philly '93. It'd be nice to go to this and see these guys again, but I probably won't be able to.

Being in Arkansas sux for Comic Cons...why are there never any in Little Rock. :(

I'll bring my camera and take some pictures when I have the chance. I certainly don't want to lose the memory of meeting the Mirage folks:D I also want to bring some of my tmnt comics for some autographing. How many comics do you think they'll be willing to sign? I'm also wondering if I could ask for a quick tmnt sketch from them as well. I hope I don't go on about irritating them!:flaming:

Just curious, where you that girl at the con on saturday I met wearing the same black 2k3 tmnt shirt as me? I remember saying "Nice shirt!" to you, or if that was you :P.
