Classic Season DVD to ever get Uk Release???Doe

Does anyone know if the UK will ever the classic original cartoon on dvd like america.

I'd say it's unlikely to happen. But, since I have no idea how popular the franchise is over there, who knows? From a marketing standpoint, if they were to release DVDs, it'd be much cheaper for them to do 'Hero Turtles'. But, since you guys would rather the N-word reinstated, I'd imagine they expect you to just import.

I would have to agree with gobo, but then again the UK did see the Next Mutation get released on DVD. So you never know.

I saw some dvds of the tmnt ot series for rent in a store once, i don't know if they where imported to Norway, but if it came here it should come to UK to!

Apparently Germany had a DVD release for the Teenage Mutant Hero Turtles. So maybe DVD releases in the UK are not that far fetched.

this dvd only inclueds german dubbed episodes, no english audio!!

but there are going to be the season releases in germany with english audio, just wait some month;)

The German DVDs of the classic 'toon are the final 24 episodes of the series, unofficially labeled 'Red Sky' in America. And, they are actually "Ninja Turtles". Oddly enough, it only features the words "Teenage Mutant" on the case and disc. The theme is in English, but the rest of the episodes is German/Deutch.

Honestly, I wonder if these episodes were ever seen in Germany/Deutchland before these DVDs came out (2005)...

there were broadcasted on tm3 in 1999 to 2000, and thats the term why the original cast didn't return for those last 24 episodes.

sorry for doubleposting, but i've got good news for all TMNT Classic Fans in the UK.

Today the German DVD Label KSM (who release the last 24 Episodes without englisch dub) where in negotiation with Lionsgate and have bougth the englisch original Version (Picture and dub) for the first 25 Episoden.

Now they have only to buy the rights for the german dub of those episodes and then they will release a Boxset with these episodes.

Uncut Footage - german and US Dub. I think that's gonna be great!!

The german Label KSM is now in negotiation for the german fdub. They say that they are planing to release the first 25 Episodes the beginnin of 2009.
