*shrugs* There was a 2 episode TMNT anime, some fans are dubing it into English.

Yeah but that was hardly even the turtles. It was like.. Sentai Power with the Turtles as the characters.
Actually the series as is is already pretty anime-ish. I mean there's real martial arts action, suggested death scenes, an on-going plot, it's not so episodic where even the episodic 'filler' episodes still carry over events from previous episodes, and you got more than enough Japanese references with all the talk about Bushido and meditation and whatnot.
The only thing missing to make it more anime-ish is actual blood, a swear-word or two and an April shower scene.
Let's not forget how often they use regular anime-dub VAs.
I'd watch a TMNT anime. Only massive amounts of graphic violence (like Bodycount) or vulgarity (sexual or just plain foul language) would make me lose interest.

If you're talking about Dragonball Z type anime, then forget it although dbz was an amazing show to me. We've had it anyway, when it came out in Japan with the super mutation turtles stuff. Believe it or not, but the current 2k3-2k7 series is anime as well. Dong Woo animation are the ones making the show right now, which happens to be a Korean animation company. So yeah this as far tmnt-anime I would like to have.

No, thanks. We have 2 good series already, a comedic and one a bit more serious. I don't care for anime. The only thing left for tmnt is a r-rated series/movie imo
