Putting it up a bit early this time. This was a cool ep that made some use out of Nano, I remember it being pretty funny... but mabey not.

This was my least favorite episode of the season. Although I am glad that Nano has finally found his niche.

As always I'm not with the rest of you I'm sure this was one of the episodes I really liked in this season because it wasn't all dragon ballz out! wooo
I also liked the episode with all the demons on the roof top but thats about it as far as this season goes for me.
Scandia's the only one of us that I recall didn't hail this ep as a breath of fresh air. With the high concentration of Shredder and related demons overflowing from each of this season's eps, this was a necessary breather. Plus, it reinvisioned one of the show's least-appreciated guest characters. The fact that they used a different VA for him/it/them this time was only a minor annoyance.

nano is one of my fav characters! I really felt bad for him in his first two times he showed up :(

This was on today. Nice to see the Turtles home from their TLS adventure...

Not really much to converse about here. Ok ep. No real conflict when you think about it. The guys could have easily defeated anything that would attack the justice force with their new found chi and bad @$$ weapons but it's all good as long as Mike is happy. :)

Another good point to make would be now those of you who didn't already know, know how Mikey got his new Turtle Titan costume from Fast Forward.
I actually liked this episode upon viewing again. It wasn't as awful as I thought it would be. However, I will say that the upcoming episodes are going to be a lot better than the ones we're getting now - especially since 4 of them are 2 parters!

I thought this episode was great, and overdue.
The previous episodes were all Ninja Tribunal this, acolytes that, and "OMG Demon Shredder!" Honestly I've been growing tired of it. Just seems to me the overall pace of the season is slower than the rest. Or at least there certainly doesn't seem to be as much substance to it. For this reason, I'm tempted to say that Season Six was better, and hopeful that Season Seven will be better than either of the previous.

Yeah, definantly didn't like it as well as I had remembered. But the season really did need a breather, so it was allright.

I agree that this felt kinda a like a breath of fresh air. A filler, yes, but a good New York style filler. I liked seeing Nano brought back and finally being able to fit in somewhere. The Leo/Mikey teamup was fun too. And even though I'm not the biggest fan of the Justice Force, I really appreciated seeing them again. Raptarr and Nobody being inducted was also another fun tie to the past.
And also, no glowy chi attacks! yay! (I still really wouldn't mind them so much if they resembled actual fighting moves/didn't have to be named like Pokemon attacks)
Just thought of this... Since this ep provided a purpose for Nano, and this season ties up loose ends for all involved, do you think "Nightmares Recycled" was meant to do the same for the fat slob with the garbage fetish? From what I understood, it gave reason for his dimentia, but I can't imagine him being reformed like Nano was.

I missed this episode on saturday because I over slept. But thats ok since I already saw this when the first aired it. I liked how it showed Ananda as a member of the super heros and having some closure to her conflict with her father. I'mn a bit on the fence with nobody joining up though...it just seemed weird to me. I think I prefere him as a dark loner whos theme is that he is "nobody", him joining the force (or whatever they call their justice league rip-off organization) seems to undermine that. I really liked that Mikey and leo teamed up in this episode, I really enjoy these two playing off each other. And I liked the new looking Turtle Titan outfit Mikey was sporting in this episode.

Think of Nobody as Batman (and it's hard not to with all of the direct references in his previous appearances). He prefers to work alone, but is also part of a team.

This ep was okay, but not the best. Yeah, it did give some closure to Nano, but I think it would've been cool to see Leo and Mikey use their chi attacks since we know that they probably could. But then again, I'm a fan of that stuff. I didn't see a preview for next week's ep. Is that gonna be a rerun?
Nope. I didn't change the channel afterwards, so I saw it a few minutes after the show went off. "New World Order" Part One, right? Whichever one comes next... You know... The one where they open the casket. ^_^

Yay Nano. I loved the ep but I didn't want to record in my tape player.

I was a little dissapointed with the Leo+Mikey team-up in this episode. I finnally got to rewatch this and on second viewing I didn't see any significant interaction between Mikey and Leo in this one and thats what I most enjoy about these two being paired off. In Nobody you got to see Leo and Mikey palling around on the roof tops and that little banter about Turtle Titan/batman comparison, and finnally the synchonized fighting scene at the end, or in Grudge Match with their interactions on the mountain and at the end, really cool Mikey and Leo moments. This episode seemed kind of stale by comparison, I would have liked a moment between the two of them where they relfected on their training with the tribunal and how out of the four of them they where the ones that caught the most disaproval from the tribunal. Or something like that.

I dunno, Leo complimenting Mike at the end got a grin from me. Good to see when ol' fearless leader acknowledges his little brother isn't a complete goofoff. :) Sure he thought Mike was putting his own goals before the important Task At Hand for most of the episode, but he will give Mike credit when it's deserved.

notice how it's only big brother Leo who ever does this?

Well, not necessarily, maybe a little more often than the others though.

was the episode kinda stand-alone or was there any reference to the whole Ninja Tribunal stuff?
Leo went to ask for the Justice Force's help to fight the demon Shredder while Mikey was just interested in living out a comic-book fantasy. I'd say that was enough to keep it in continuity.
Revan

Yeah it was both. One could watch it as a stand alone ep for the action and Mike jokes but at the same time it was expanding on the running demon tengu plot

didn't they show this one at one point during the FF run?

Actually yeah they did. Since there really isn't anything in the ep that could spoil the rest of season five they aired it as a "bonus episode" :ohwell:

This is why I like 2k3 Leo, he is mature and supportive, which earns my respect. He doesn't seem to have the same kind of pettiness the other turtles have.
For those of you who have seen the whole season already do the Justice Force actually end up helping in the final battle?

In what way has Leo been condesending or cocky? In the the CGI movie I can see where you can say that but Leo in the cartoon has always been very mature and patient with his brothers. I can't really think of a instance where Leo has ever been cocky at all. And Don even though he ushaully very amiable has has moments of unprovoked condesion and snottiness in the show. More so than Leo I would say.

Well he was slightly cocky about his weapons at the beginning of Shredder Strikes, had that little hypocritical moment in City at War calling Raphael the hothead when he was being so at the time, that little remark made longside Raphael regarding Michaelangelo in Space Invaders, "he's not completely useless", telling the others to wise up in Dragons Rising when they're doing their best and he ain't doing any better, maybe a stretch but kinda told Raphael off in RTNY saying I can finish this (sounds like he's saying all of a sudden this is solely his job to finish Shredder and his goons).

I don´t mind seeing Nobody as part of Justice Force. He is like Wolverine who fits in both solo and team adventures.
Okay episode. Nothing special, average episode. Too bad they never made that Garbageman episode since I like more Don/Raph team than Leo/Mikey team.

Although I love the Leo/Mikey team (and hope to see another episode. devoted to that next season) I would have to agree that it would have been cool to see a Raph/Don team episode too. Has there ever been one? Cause they have done a lot of Leo/Mikey (not that I'm complaining, LOL!)

The episode H.A.T.E. has a Raph/Don team-up, where they try to stop a bunch of alien haters from blowing up the city.
