View Full Version : Can any of the human acolytes beat utrom shredder (without their mysticical powers)?

I say, heck no!
I was not impressed with the human acolytes at all in the lost season episodes. IMO, they were shown as pretty useless. The four turtles did more cool stuff than Adam, Joi, Firachi, and Toya ever did.
Heck, even the turtles had a hard time beating utrom shredder. It took them several episodes for them to finally beat that guy. Hamato Yoshi, who was a ninja master, never beat utrom shredder, and I think its safe to say that Yoshi is a much better fighter than any of the human acolytes ever were.
And Splinter, who is also a ninja master, had a hard time against the utrom shredder when he did go up against him.
So no, I don't think any of the human acolytes would stand a chance against the utrom shredder, without their mystic knowledge. Even if the four ganged up on the utrom shredder, I still think they would all have a hard time against him.
Again, if the turtles and splinter all had a hard time against him, than you know that the human acolytes would, too.

It's not really a fair question. The only thing that makes ch'rell so tough is his exosuit.
Wearing the huge suit from Exodus, he seemed quite invisible.
I think the acolytes' chaces of victory against ch'rell would depend on which exo-suit ch'rell decides to use. Without the suit, he's just a squishy panzy.

I think ch'rell would wreck them in a fight. Its not just his exo suit that gives him an advantage. He is also highly skilled in ninjutsu. His exo suit don't mean anything if he doesn't know how too fight. If splinter struggled against the shredder( even in his oroku saki suit) than they would surely struggle.

actually that is all he has. Without a suit, in his true form, he is weak.

Ch'rell is highly skilled in ninjitsu. His suit just helps him to enhance his own skills as without his skills, him wearing an suit means nothing. Splinter, who is a ninjitsu master, struggled against utrom shredder. Utrom Shredder owned Splinter more than once. Hamato Yoshi, who was also a ninjitsu master, died when he went up against the utrom shredder.
If Yoshi and Splinter both have had a hard time against the utrom shredder in the past, than you know that none of the human acolytes, who are weaker fighters, can beat him. Even if they fought him at once, they would still have a hard time.

exactly. oroku saki owned Splinter (along with Leo, Raph, and Mikey) in that fight. He slapped Splinter and the turtles around like it was nothing.

If hamato yoshi would have been wearing a suit that increased his size by 10 times and made him 10X stronger, faster and more agile (*cough* ch'rell) yoshi would be pretty tough too.

I think it's a matter of experience. The Turtle learned from their encounters with Tin Skin. If the Acolytes were able to fight Shred-head mutipal times and learn from each encounter, they may have a better and better shot at stoping him, much like the TMNT themselves did.

A suit is nothing if you have no skill.
Even as oroku saki, he was hard to beat. In Exodus part 1, utrom shredder (as oroku saki) slapped Splinter and the turtles around like it was nothing. He owned Splinter, and Splinter is a ninjitsu master.
He would've done the same to hamato yoshi, even though Yoshi was a ninjitsu master. If utrom shredder can own Yoshi and Splinter who are both ninjitsu masters, than he would have it easier against the human acolytes, all whom are far weaker fighters. Heck, the turtles have been shown to be much better fighters than any of the human acolytes, and we all know that the turtles had a hard time beating the utrom shredder. The turtles didn't beat him until Return to New York, part 3.

I think you are refusing to see the point I am desperately trying to make there chief.
ch'rell's suit enhances his strength, size, and agility by like 10 times. Get it

The four turtles are better fighters than the human acolytes. That was shown in the lost season.
Splinter and Hamato Yoshi (who was Splinter's master) are both ninja masters. Guess what? Both had a hard time against utrom shredder. Yoshi died going up against him and Splinter nearly died more than once. Even as oroku saki, ch'rell was slapping Splinter and the turtles around. It took everything they had to beat the utrom shredder. If they struggled against him, than what chance do the human acolytes do, when they aren't as good as the turtles, and are definately not in the same league as Splinter or Hamato Yoshi.

the acolytes would have to break down his suits and quite frankly, I don't think they are skilled enough to do it. Even the turtles had to do that, and it took them several episodes to figure it out.

Ch'rell is a bubblegum in the size of a football, without any additonal help (like the various suits) he wouldn't even be a match for me (and my only ninja skill consists of ninja-editing posts). ;]

I agree with Neutrino. Ch'rell may know some ninjitsu but the exosuit he wears does all the work and is stronger, faster, and harder. Plus since its the exosuit is just a machine it doesn't tired so its endurance is superior to any one else and since the suit is just a machine it doesn't feel pain.
This argument is flawed, its like saying a person who is racing some one in a car is faster than some one on foot.
