Shredder's outfit?

[TheUltimateShredhead]

Is shredder's outfit a ninja outfit or a samurai outfit? im not an expert, but his armor seems more samurai style then ninja style, even though he is a ninja:ohwell: it doesn't bother me i just wonder:ohwell:

[teletran]

from Wikipedia:
Some ninja may have worn the same armor or clothing as samurai or Japanese peasants.

I've always thought of it as a streamlined, modernised version of samurai armour.

But seriously, It does have some Samurai-esque things goin for it. I guess he's just a kinda vain ninja.
