So I was reading thru some Tales Vol 2 last night, it got me to thinking...

Leatherhead hasn't really been in that many comics. Off the top of my head, I know he's in (in chronological order from Dr. Spengler)...

Are there any other issues he's in that I can't think of? I really thought he was in more.

I just re-read Leatherhead's first appearance in Tales #6, and in the editorial at the beginning, Jim says this:

"I can't help but draw parallels between the lack of respect paid to the environment and the recent events surrounding a particular comic that Mirage has become involved with. Although the role of the studio has been largely that of spectator we've gotten to know personally the exploitive nature of people."

Does anybody know to what he's referring? The issue was published August 88. Same month that the first Archi mini came out, is it about that?

I dunno. I was only 2 at the time, but perhaps someone was exploiting either the Archie series or the Mirage series in a similar manner that people exploit the environment? It's hard to say since I don't know the context that he's writing in. What did he talk about before and after that quote?
