Favorite 2k3 scenes?

Hey, any of you got any particular favorite scenes throughout the series that stood out to you? Could be multiple scenes, since this show has been well made most of the time!

I kinda like that part from return to new york city 2 when the turtles and splinter have to cross the booby-trap hallway. The part where mikey's bandanna gets cut always makes me laugh. :lol:

For me, quite a few moments. Here are a few of my top ones:

- Leo's rooftop fight with the Foot Elites. (Shredder Strikes Back: Part 1).
- Leo and Don's flashback. (Tales of Leo).
- Casey, April, and the moving mistletoe. (Christmas Aliens).
- Raph and Mike falling by a guy's window screaming while he's oblivious to what's going on outside. (Samurai Tourist).
- Stockman and his hallucinations. (Insane in the Membrane).
- Mike drinking three month old milk. (Return to New York: Part 1).

I have a few more, but my memory is pretty fuzzy. Guess that's a sign that I need to rewatch my DVDs again then... :ohwell:

Mine would have to be Exodus Part II. I loved when Leo was stabbed by Karai. The reaction in his face said it all!

-Don trying to do the matrix move and failing in City at War
-Shredder being powered by the Sword of Tengu in Return to New York
-Shredder summoning the Elite Guard behind him in Return to New York
-Bishop fighting tmnt, Karai, and Hun in Hun on the Run
-Ch'rell getting his exosuit armor in Exodus
-The enslaved New Yorkers looking upward while in the rain in SAINW
-The opening scene where the TMNT go up against the Purple Dragons in

Yeah, my jaw dropped the first time I saw that. It's still nice to see.

Also, when Shredder Strikes Back part 2 first aired I totally **** my pants, the whole episode was just... unbelievable. Then having the TMNT "die" at the end was a nice touch.

This is great to be able to note all the scenes to look out for. I haven't seen all of the 2k3 series. No where close to it actually. But some favorite scenes.

When Splinter tells the Turtles to walk this way and Mikey starts to imitate his crippled shuffle, and Donny baps him for it. I thought it was actually funny. I'm not too sure what episode that was, one of the first ones I believe.

The episode where the Turtles and April get zapped to a prehistoric time, and April had the vine draped around her legs. Raph offered to help, and ended up ripping off her trousers. The look she gave him, and the worried look he had!

I like the scene when Leo was referring to Oruko Saki as "master" and Raph jumped on him real quick about it.

I have a few:

-In "Things Change" when the Turtles fight the Foot for the first time. I love that ep and that moment was memorable for me. It was the first time I really got to see the Turtles fight using real ninja action in animated form. Badass.

-In "Same As It Never Was", the fight with the Shredder. I thought it was one of the most hardcore, badass animated fights I had ever seen, let alone for the TMNT.

-And pretty much anything to do with Usagi Yojimbo. I love that guy.

Some favorites:

- agreed on "Things Change" opener. The Turtles were back.

- both major season 1 two-parters where they fight Shredder, but especially Shredder Strikes Back. "Nice hats!" And yeah, the awesome fight in the antique shop.

- Battle Nexus part... 3? Don and Usagi vs. black Ultimate Ninja minions. Some really nice animation.

- "Hun on the Run" - Hun, Bishop, Karai, and the Turtles fighting in a moving train. And allow me to single out the part where Bishop holds his own against Hun armed with nothing but a necktie.

- SAINW Mike vs. Karai 'bots. Short and one-sided, but seeing Mike kick so much butt with one arm before being cut down was sweet.

- SAINW Leo and Raph vs. Karai. Some excellent animation through here, as well as fight choreography.

- Rounding out the SAINW party with Splinter's grave. That was as big a kick in the gut as Broadway's death in "Future Tense".

- "Wing and a Prayer" - not the biggest fan of the episode overall, but Raptarr's and Mifos' (?!) aerial maneuvers were hot. Also there's that quick cut where Leo, Raph, and Don jump down the space between buildings... awesome shot.

- "Grudge Match" - Leo vs. brothers at the beginning was pretty dang cool. More nice, smooth animation. Later on, the moment Mike decides he's going to kick butt. The fight that follows isn't my favorite (from storyboarding or animation perspectives) but from where his eyes snap open to where he poses with his 'chucks was great.

- Genosuke as Rocksteady.

I really love a lot of the scenes that have already been mentioned.
In part of the battle Nexus after Leo has been poisoned and Donny is fighting along side Usagi I always liked that whole scene. He doesn't quite trust Usagi yet and he is trying to protect Leo from the Shadow warriors that Draco sent out.

I always like the episodes with Mikey that include Klunk, like fleeing the lair when Karai brings in all the foot ninja.

dang, most of you have laready mentioned my favorite scenes. But I have to list a few even if I end up repeateing a few.

-Splinter and Mikey vs. Touch and Go in the subway. I just loved seeing Splinter kicking ass and the fight scene was just cool.

-the cut in scenes in I, Monster of the rat king remembering his time in the lab.

-the scene of Mikey and Raph having their archery competion shooting apples off Don's head.

-the scene in Scion of the Shredder where Raph is being pursued in the battle shell by Foot tech in helicopters and they shoot at the van and he gracefully bursts out the back before the missils hit on his motorcycle and he lands on the ground and stops his mortorcycle at an arc and looks back at the wreckage before zooming away. Then that cool scene where he is riding at top speed on his motorcycle and he leaps on to bridge support and watches his mortor cycle zoom away riderless and crashes before throwing his helmet off and climbing out of sight. Awsome!

-the scene in Scion of the Shredder where every one has left the lair except Mikey and he goes to get Klunk and he leaps from a landing onto two foot ninjas and then does a spinging kick to fell the last ninja by the door and takes off. The fact that every one else left with attention of getting away (leaving him to basically fend for himself) Mikey's focus was to get his pet first before escaping was pretty awsome.

-the scene in Scion of the Shredder where Raph's tries to escape inside that elevator thing and several ninja jump in with him and start attacking him, abd then the next shot of the elevator coming up and the doors open and only Raph comes out :o that was awasome. Just the suggestion that Raph killed those guys was pretty wicked.

My favorite non-action scene ever is in the second episode when Don and Mike are discussing what to call the new place, they totally geek out and make a bunch of comic/superhero references. I thought that was really funny, and should have been a bigger part of their relationship.

Mine would be:

-The first showdown the TMNT have with the Shredder, and then their second showdown with him later on in the same ep.

-Pretty much the entire "Shredder Stricks Back Part 1"...the whole ep was mindblowing to watch.

-"Uh....555-kick-in-the-head?!"

-Karai and Leonardo fighting for the first time.

-The opening scenes for Season 3.

-April and Casey's first kiss.

-Mikey being hurt by Leatherhead and Raph's soft and emotional attitude towards his fallen brother (until Mikey killed the moment anyway).

-The introduction to Future Mike in SAINW, and Don's suprised reaction when he realizes what he's seeing. Future Mike kicking ass till he gets overwhelmed and killed, yelling out his brother's name before receiving the final blow...as well as Don's reaction.

-Karai accidently stabbing Leo, and the shocked looks on both their faces. Karai standing up to her father and saving Leo's life, and the angry look she had on her face when the Shredder struck her, as well as the upset and disappointed look she had on her face at her father's trial (too bad the writers had to take the lazy way out with her and do a total 180 in Season 4 to make her an enemy).

-Yoshi's appearances to Splinter over the seasons...

-All the fights agains Bishop, each one was awesome!

-Baxter's increasingly messed up visions with April as he was loosing his mind in "Insane to the Membrane" (I really feel bad for Baxter...)

-Mikey freaking out over Klunk in "Bad Day".

-The cute shippy moments with Chaplin and Karai.

Here's some Lost Season ones...I'll use spoiler tags:

-April and Karai's chat, and Karai's suprise at discovering the TMNT saved her and helped her heal.

-Leo's speach to Karai.

-Karai saving Leo's life.

-Splinter's nightmares about the Shredder killing his sons, and his reaction when it comes to play in reality (I don't think they were ever dead...I'm not sure about that though...). The pure horror and anguish he displays is quite emotional to watch, it's one of the best moments in the entire series to me.

-Karai and Chaplin holding hands in the last ep of the Lost Season...and her purely happy tone as she spoke to him (PLEASE tell me that she's finally letting go of her hatred and realizing she's wrong!).

-any fight scene where Mikey stops show boating and fights for real

-any scene where Raph shows his softy guy side

-any scene where Leo acts cutely flustered or is not so strung up

-any scene where the turtles are relaxing and messing around with each other and just being teenagers.

I agree with the Mike rematch against Kluh, or any time Mikey really works his chucks.

The scene where the turtles beam in and help Honeycutt. Good choreography for the fight scene.

When the turtles fight the turtlebot and use different weapons.

Mikey freaking out over Klunk in "Bad Day".

you know I thought this scene was kind of weak for some reason, I didn't really think Mikey reacted strongly enough, the acting seemed...meh. But then I really wasn't to fond of Bad Day.

I liked the scene where Leo and Raph start fighting and Leo throws Raph over the building and then freaks out, and then the smile Raph has when he is shown to be dangling from the side on the building.

When Raph tears up at the cabin because Leo has been baddly hurt.

In Lone Raph and Cub where the little kid punches Raph in the face, three times :lol: Actually that whole episode was filled with gems.

When Raph goes ballistic on Karai when she stabs Leo and he starts kicking her around :evilgrin:

When Shredder back hands Karai across the room :evilgrin:

When Leo is standing behind Karai after he cuts her helment off and taps her shoulder with his sword to make her kneel infront of him. Heh, Leo humilated her in that episode! :evilgrin::evilgrin::evilgrin:

The deadly look Don gave Raph at the end of that episode where he meets that Kirby guy. It was just an unspoken STFU look, and it was cool.

That harrassed/annoyed look Mikey got on his face when the turtles where doing pull ups and his phone started going off and both Raph and Don smack him. It's not often Mikey actually shows annoyance for all the smacks he gets and this was kinda cool.

yeah you bitch but I thought the look on Karai's face was pretty interesting. She actually looked rather shocked believe it or not. :o like "ooh...I just stabbed him, hm" :ohwell:

I liked the scene where Don is turning into a monster and his thigh starts to writh. Pretty gross.

I know this part of the actual show but I always laugh at the short that has the turtles sneaking into Bishiops head quarters only to make vanilla egg creams LOL

This was also a short but it was one where Mikey is wearing this jet pack and he is talking about how great it is to fly and he swings into the lair where his brothers are about to part take in some yummy sammiches and swoops in and steals them which pisses them off, and he starts eating them and says to himself how he might never take them off (the jet pack) ut then you see Leo, Don and Raph with jet packs too and they are chasing after him and he screams. LOL :lol:
