Heh.. Indiana was in the way of the weekend storm, but it wasn;t near as bad as what you guys got. IN averaged around a foot to two feet in the Northern spots. My city only got under a foot. But you can tell how much really, cause it got blown around all over the place. Some spots will have an inch, with grass showing, then other places will have two foot snow drifts. Then there was the freezing rain that started the whole mess.
I had to chip through one inch of ice n snow on the car's windshield this morning (since I didn't use it yesterday). :dead:

Here in the UK a couple of weeks ago, we all awoke to find this funny white stuff, a few millimeters deep, covering as far as the eye could see. No one knew from whence it came, or what indeed it was doing here.
The choas that ensued, public transport ground to a halt, freeways blocked by abandoned motor cars, trains stopped running and schools closed.
By mid morning, after the sun had begun to shine on the sleepy suburbs, mysteriously as it had appeared, the white stuff vanished without a trace. The country?....... took three days to return to normal. Doody doody doody dooo

I live in the suburbs of Philly... and yeah, we got blasted. Watching my dog try to walk through it was hilarious! Looks like we're only gonna get one day off from school though... we had like the whole week off during the blizzard of '96.

I wish we would get heavy snow here. Every time the local weather forecaster even mentions snow flurries, people begin to freak out like a blizzard is coming. :D

It sounds a whole lot like my area, too. :D There are moments where we have had about a foot or more of snow, but that's somewhat rare.

We had like 2 feet of snow and I had to shovel my driveway because the guy my parents called to plow the driveway never showed and after shoveling that damn thing I felt like I ran into a brickwall I was so tired. Ah well, at least I got a day of school off. And YAY this is my 500th post... I'm a Super Member now... BWHAHAHA
