Well, this is it (almost). Don't remember how my initial youtube viewing of this one went, but one of the things that ruined The Lost Season for me happened in this very episode.

Wow, probably my favorite lost season episode (not saying too much tho).

Main Pros:
Tight fights
Nice Casey/April Moment

Main Cons:
Never realized how much I hate Huns new voice
Sentry's character design fluctuated
ACOLYTES!!

And what was it that almost ruined the Lost Season for you?

The fact that:

the acolytes rose from the dead

...just seemed really unnecessary.

As much as I love the lost season, I too hated that as well. I know it is a kid's show, but come on! The writers should have never put the acolytes in the series. The face that
the ninja tribunal rose from the dead as well

was also unnecessary and very annoying. I just hope they don’t have either groups come back next season!

He's only ACTING the role of a con. :P But, it's still Greg Carey (same Hun as ever).

I'm with the both of you and couldn't agree more.

And yet, when in any given soap opera, when it turns out whoever died was someone's brother's something or other, and they were actually in a coma, it seems natural.

Personally, I would have wrote that they had to pretend to be dead to get the drop on the Mystics. Would have made a little more sense, anyway.

But very intense episode. Seems like this and the next would have been perfect for the last episode of the series completely.

One more thing... who cracked up when Hun gave a girly moan when Shredder tossed him?

No way! The series can't end in a technicolor saiyan blast orgy, it needs to be a straight up epic ninja battle.

And while I didn't crack up, I thought my ears were playing tricks on me

Ok episode. I've said it before but I think it's strange the as the turtles gather as many allies as possible, even resorting to Karai and the foot, they don't ask Leatherhead to fight with them. :ohwell:

I wonder if this is because Leatherhead is so unpredictable and thus so unreliable. Not that it is his fault. I think this may be the reason why he was not invited to come to the Christmas gathering in season 3. Since he cannot control his temper and can become so destructive without wanting to, he may not be the most useful ally if things have to be strategically calculated.

Doesn't Leatherhead still hate Bishop or Baxter?

Him being here could cause him to go out of control and attack their allies, its best they didn't include him.

I suppose that makes sense. He definately would have been a big help though.

I would have to agree though that bringing dead characters back is a bit of a gutless cop out

Heh, very much in tune with the Dragonball Z-ish tone of this season, IMO.

Or the fact that his voice actor went missing...

I'd like to get a good image of Stockman's wheelchair 'o doom. It reminded me of the giant mecha that he used during his siege on The Shredder way back in Season One.

Except without the magical wish granting life restoring Dragon Balls... which makes it a little more confusing.

It does seem like the cliched anime ending. Bringing all the old characters they can back, even to just wave at the characters. The big battle against an ultimate evil...Clearly what they were going for.

Though I agree that an all out Return of the Shredder/ Return to New York style ninja Battle would work better for the tone of the series. But unlike FF, things didn't wind up petering out (no pun intended, but makes sense if you think about it) when they canned it mid-series.

A voice actor can be replaced. Better than to pull a Chuck Cunningham and have an important character disappear.

Leatherhead went upstairs with a basketball and never came back down again? :(

I like to think that Leatherhead is sitting in his lair, listening to Blues albums and crying about how he's A MONSTERE!!!! every single day for the rest of his life.

I loved this episode. I thought the battle was pretty good. I also loved how they did join forces with everybody to fight the Shredder. As for the Acolytes coming back, it didn't bother me one bit. I liked the characters and was pleased to see them return. I know it may seem like a cop out to you guys, but I felt that it was a good thing. Then again, I'm probably the only one who feels that way.

Favorite quotes:

Baxter: You recruited Hun? You MUST be desperate?

Baxter: And what could stop us from destroying you terrapins right now?
Silver Sentry: Us for one thing.

Overall, I felt it was a good episode, and I can't wait for the next one.

One small thing that bothered the little kid in me: Leo lost his fancy acoylte weapon to Feragi.

Yeah, that bugged me, too, but I can see why Leo would want to give it back. At least Feragi was modest and wanted to decline it instead of saying, "Sure, I'll take it back."

I could accept that if he just got his new place, or has been there since, but he was basically just helping the turtles get Don back to normal. Okay, that was a few weeks before their training started, but you'd think he'd at least come to a fight where he could cut loose on some zombies.

Just wish there was some explanation or mention. Like just make Don or Mikey say something like "I wish Leatherhead would have come along" at some point.

Eh, I was just funnin'. he seems to say that he's a monster five times an episode whenever he's around.

Almost as much as the Archie Comics leatherhead said "UT!" (Inside joke- check out his first appearance in Archie, and if you have it, the cassette tape of "Intergalactic Wrestling and Other Stories")

Well, with the type of person Leo is, I assumed they did it to get him to push himself to his fullest potential. But I still think it was dumb.

Hello guys,
I'm currently making french subtitles of the lost season (since it was never translated here), and I have a big problem.
In New World Order - Part 1, the Ancien One says after the nightmare something like :
"Look likes you cumquats are walking the moho yuku path."

My japanese culture is poor, what or who is moho yuku ?
And why cumquats ? The turtles are geen !

Well, if anyone can explain me the meaning of this sentence, I would be very grateful :)
