I miss the old yellow jump suit. The new april is a huge step down from the old TMNT cartoons. Shes suposed to be a reporter. Am I just overreacting?
Let me know.

No... I had the same feeling. I mean both April's are sexy... :D , but the old April was more mature. She was a full-fledged adult in the comics and in the old cartoons. So why boost her to a pop-star looking teenager? It confused the heck outta me! I was a bit upset myself though. I didn't think I would, but I did. Oh well, we'll just have to adapt to the new April.

No, she is supposed to be a scientests assistant. The new cartoon is based off the original Mirage seires, where she was an assistant for Stockman... just like she is now.

If you don't like it, check out IRC for the old episodes. Check out http://www.radixpub.com/tmntfiles/guidetoirc.php for help. It gives you a step by step walkthrough of how to get everything set up and some basic DOS codes to use.

Well I don't mind April in Mirage, but in the new series I agree it is weird that she is wearing those skimpy clothes under a lab coat, and she does seem kind of young too. :ohwell:

Well I actually kinda like her... Ive said it a million times, the only thing wrong is the half shirt. (Especially under the lab coat, she should have worn a button shirt and a skirt or dress pants at work) I hope they follow the Comic even more, with the Antique store etc...

Yeah I agree
I'm preety sure the antique shop and all are going to be in there

she eventually will become a reporter...most likely independent.
the antique store will be there...

and i'm thinking that her clothes are comfortable for the lab...I mean who sees you in a lab anyway...wouldn't you want to wear not so great clothes incase you spill toxins?

Oh... she's GREATLY great looking and all... *begins to drool* But she seems so untraditional. I mean when you're into the cartoons, you'd expect the new series to follow where they left off.

Yeah April doesn't dress as the Mirage version, but you gotta remember, although it's based on the original Mirage comics, they new show is set around the year 2003 (Check Mikey's DVD collection)

So the, re..She's not gonna wear 80's clothing :P

Yeah, you do raise a good point there. I was just thinking she looked unprofessional, but then she is only an assistant.

Uh... she's a cartoon, not real.

Even in cartoons, sex sells. Attractive characters are more "likable" than plain characters, that's how it is in real life. *grumbles*

I think April looks casual. It's not uncommon for people to dress casually in a place like that, since very few people aside from co workers see you. I think April looks cool, and I actually like her like this. She's young and pretty without being purely eye candy, she's actually intelligent and kinda tough.

Maybe, but the old April is UGLY. (IMO, that's the one thing Laird and Eastman couldn't do well: humans.) This new April does the job fine, and she doesn't look like a teenager to me.

No one wears that in a lab! She looks like Brittany Speares for the love of crap! The last thing I equate with a laboratory is skimpy clothing! Ugh! These people make the dumbest decisions! I'd like to know who the idiot was who thought, "Hmmmmm today's 7-12 year olds need an animated sex icon", and why he hasnt been thrown in a cage yet.

The April from the old cartoon was fine. As a matter of fact, she was better than fine, she was great.(Design wise) and frankly should have just changed her to fit the time as a 25 year-old. She looks like she's 16 in the new cartoon! I swear, if she starts dating one of the turtles, I'll cry tears of blood.

As for the comics, I've heard how bad they are when it comes to humans.

 I doubt April will be dating one of the Turtles.

I don't think the April O'Neil from the new cartoon is that bad. I kinda like the looks of the April O'Neil from the old cartoon better. Could have been worse, in my book.

I agree. That Brittany thing really scares me. The skimpy clothing is also stupid. I know someone said something about people changing cloths. I know cartoons aren't suppose to be real so people don't change cloths much(or once in some shows), but I think a redesign of her cloths would be a good idea for the show. I don't like the shirt she has.

Ack... I'll kill myself if that last sentence comes true. That would totally ruin the show for me. I always see April as a big sister to the turtles.

Okay, I, for one, think it's really stupid to judge someone based on what clothes they wear. Especially a fictional character. So April likes belly shirts and hip pants, does that make her a Britney wanna-be? Like hell it does. I like wearing clothes that some would consider skimpy (sports bra and baggy jeans at the moment) and I hate Miss BS with a passion.

Get real. If you can't see past her clothes, you aren't ever going to like her character. And from what I've seen, she's great character.

Has everyone forgotten how far down April's yellow jumpsuit was zippered down? She could have popped out of that thing at any time.
