I'd say, animate it sort of like Persepholis, all in sketchy black and white like the original comics... but would that work in the long term, or would it be gimmicky?

And I agree. City at war.

Nah, I don't think it would be. If anything it would work against it as black and white in cartoons and movies nowadays is seen as being overly pretentious.

CAW would be nice to see in a richly detailed smooth animation, in color.

TMNT DTV
I feel like a super noob for asking but what is dtv?

'direct-to-video'... It's spelled OVA or OAV in Japan.

Ah I see. I'm afraid I'll chime in, CAW.

You know what else might be fun though, is the river. Perhaps a few tweeks here and there but it's a story I thought was interesting

that would be kinda cool but they kinda of incorporated that into movie one after the farm

Agreed -- and maybe some of Veitch's stuff.

City at War would be nice...in saturated colour (colours that are toned down quite a bit so they are starying to look a bit gray). Or an original story would be nice.

Yeah the river could be really good, kinda gross leeches and all, but as weird and creepy as it is it would be a perfect more mature storyline.

DOI!!! I just thought of something. How about it be Animatrix style? Different interpretations of the Turtles, by the different artists and writers, in different animation styles?

I'd KILL to see something Hedden McWenie style done by Spumco animators.

First of all...There's no better way to present the tmnt in my mind...It was the new dark night anime being released next month that made me realize this.

Second of all...The River. That would be an awesome dtv story.
I would always be down for a city at war story(I love the urban side of tmnt), but if they were going to go with something a little more fantasy like, the river would be sweet.

Hey, I'm just disappointed The River wasn't made into a 2 part episode of 2K3.

Help out a noob?

What's "City At War"?

I mean, presumably it's an old comic book arc or miniseries, but what's its deal? Is it the best TMNT comic story? If I wanted to check out some TMNT comics, would that be the place to start?

It was a 13 part story line that wrapped up Mirage volume 1. It was really awesome, and had the TMNT and Karai vs. The Foot Elite, plus neat side stories for Casey, April and Splinter.

Forgot to put in my two cents: An original story by Paul Dini and Bruce Timm.

I would love to see the Lizard Babe Mona Lisa in the new cartoon & Helps the Turtles kick Shredder's Ass Cause She's Hot & She would make the new cartoon more Fun to watch.

Put the Hot Lizard Babe Mona Lisa in it Cause she's Hot.

1. There is no way you're avy is legal.

2. You wouldn't happen to be the same person behind 'nightwatchersonlygirl' would you?

I don't. Could you explain it to me please? *sees the mob about to attack* Umm... Nevermind. :embarass:[/playingdumb]

I just knew someone, somewhere would misinterpret the term "adult". Personally, I would have preferred "mature" (implying moderate violence, vulgarity or whatever) as opposed to "adult" (implying gratuitous whatever).

So, I nit-pick over wording... That's what I do.

Yep, it was inappropriate.
