Custom TMNT Original 1987 Cartoon Action Figure Line

I have finally finished what i have been working on since like January. I took the original '88, '89, and some '90 TMNT figures and "toon-ized" them! Any feedback, questions, comments, suggestions etc. are welcome. Enjoy!

Great job. Do they look so glossy because of the paint you used or did you put a glossy protective clear coat on them or something?

Fanriffic job. I just love the irony of the new Leatherhead looking more like the old one than the old one did.

But especially excellent work on Slash. Too bad the old series didn't look half as good as this.

thanx everybody. ya it would be curious to see how much they would go for on ebay, as a whole set, but i really just made these so i could have them on display in my room. i might consider maybe making a duplicate of a certain figure/s and put that on ebay ( i have lots of spare loose tmnt figs, i used to get them 2 for a dollar at the flea market when i was a kid, but i also have a "mint" set, as well as a MOC set) i couldnt tell ya how long the whole process took. im just glad i finished it now so i could take a break from doing customs for the summer. it does require some patience, but for the most part i think i handled it very well. some of them look glossy cause of the paint, and others look glossy cause they were indeed sprayed with a glosscote (certain colors i had to use enamel paint cause i could not find the color in acrylic, and enamel would stay sticky unless you spray it with glosscote). here is another pic of slash's back so you can see how his shell more closely resembles the original cartoon
