Basically self explanatory. They're not really far up there, I think Raph is in the 80-100 range whereas Usagi (I believe) is actually a little higher than Raph. There's a lot of "tough guy" characters on the list, so I wasn't surprised that Raph was the one Ninja Turtle to be on the list.

I'm not a big Raph fan myself, but I know he has a huge fanbase. I think people just love the "tough guy with the heart of gold" character. That's why Wolverine is so popular (who is #1 on the list by the way).

If any of you want to know where some of your favorite comic book characters fall on the list or if they are even on the list, I'll reply back with answers. Or you can discuss why Raph/Usagi are on the list as opposed to the other Turtle characters. It doesn't say why they were picked really, it kinda just gives a brief description of the character. For Raph, if I remember correctly, it just states that he's the tough guy of the team basically. I'll go back and read it if you wanna know exactly what it says for both characters. Otherwise, any questions, just ask.

I don't know if anyone missed me, but it has been a while since I've visited these boards. Hope I haven't missed too much.

Not surprising. "TMNT," by its very nature, is an ensemble thing... you yank any single Turtle out of it and judge them on their own merit, they're just not as interesting as your Batmans, your Wolverines, etc..

Though I'd be interested to see what kind of rubbish they put above Raphael, just the same.

Raph couldn't crack the top one hundred, he's at # 111, given how Wizard has ignored TMNT over the years, I'm surprised any turtle made it at all.

Usagi is ranked #57. wow.

Who do you think? Snikt!! :P

Lots of indy and flavor-of-the month characters can be found along with a few head scratchers (Snake-Eyes from G.I Joe is #12? ).
