I happened to flip through the January issue of Tomart's Action Figure Digest today, and I found the mother load of TMNT action figure info! It has photos and price information for over 100 figures! I had no idea that so many were made! It doesn't have everything though, the rest is in the February issue. (I didn't know that before I left the store though, so I don't have that one yet.)

Anyway, I just wanted to give everyone a heads up since I've noticed people asking about the figures!

BTW Azure, your precious Ace duck is $10 complete w/no package, $25 mint in package, and $40 mint in mint package!

azure turtle
03-01-2002, 06:36 PM
What?! Only ten dollars?! That's insanity!! He's worth much more than that!! Argh, perhaps I won't be looking for that magazine...
*mutters to himself*
Ten frickin' dollars for the action fig. of the greatest duck the world has ever known! This is a crime against all of humanity and species of ducks!

Skeletoncrew

I found it at a comic shop. Bigger bookstores might have it too.

Hey, cheer up! Its more than Usagi Yojimbo, Metalhead, Krang, Casey Jones, Rocksteady, and others go for!

azure turtle
03-01-2002, 06:48 PM
I remember those! I always wanted one too, but my parents told me that I had a lot of TMNT action figs already. Gar!! If only I had money back then....

Skeletoncrew

I found a guy online that's gonna sell me mutating ones for $4 a piece and they're complete. The only thing I need to do is trust the guy.

Skeletoncrew
03-02-2002, 01:31 AM
Does he have any references?

What does it say for the Farmer Don with tractor still in the box? Or those reeeeeally hard to find for sale Ninja Action flipping figures?

Skeletoncrew
03-02-2002, 01:46 PM
Unfortunately they're not in this issue! I need the February one too!

I do notice that we could just about put together a YMCA line-up. There's Cowboy Don, Chief Leo, Make my Day Leo (cop), Punker Don...ohh...how about Midshipman Mike?

Kali
03-02-2002, 01:47 PM

azure turtle
03-02-2002, 02:22 PM
Hi! Sorry if I'm not posting fast enough....I'm still trying to read everything! Blah.....

Machias Banshee
03-02-2002, 02:25 PM
speaking of reading, have you read all the fanfics you were planning to read?

*sees Azure collapse from exhaustion*

Okay, i'll ask some other time

*pokes at Azure with stick*

azure turtle
03-02-2002, 02:30 PM
Ouch! Stop that!
No, I didn't get to read all the fanfic I wanted to.
*lowers head in sadness*
I did get to read Kali's "Out of Time," but I was too tired after my calculus mid-term to read anything else. I literally had four hours of sleep on Wednesday night, and only six on Thursday becase of some drunken people being loud in the dorms. Argh! And I'm still tired, and I've got a chemistry mid-term on Monday...

Machias Banshee
03-02-2002, 02:32 PM
*stops poking*

I nderstand, azure. The only time i can really relax is when my roomate and neighbour go to ellsworth for the week ends, cuz theyre always either staying up til 4am or getting drunk. *groan* I miss my single...

Kali
03-02-2002, 02:33 PM
Poor azure. I know I'd NEVER be able to function on just that much sleep. Or maybe I could, my mom says I sleep too much, and that's why I'm tired all the time. *scratches her head*

Machias Banshee
03-02-2002, 02:36 PM
I hate it when i dont get enough sleep. The total hours of sleep i had for the first two weeks of 2nd semester was 14 hours! i looked like a zombie for two weeks straight. :dead:

azure turtle
03-02-2002, 02:44 PM
Yep, I've been running on coffee the last few days.
*groans*
But I've got two more weeks, then finals, then Spring break!! I just need to hang in there for wee bit longer...

Machias Banshee
03-02-2002, 02:45 PM
my breaks in the first week of april.

azure turtle
03-02-2002, 02:49 PM
Ugh!! Hang in there, Machias! You'll make it. I shall offer a prayer to the turtle gods for you.

Machias Banshee
03-02-2002, 02:52 PM
thank you! the good side to all of this is that we end classes in the first week of May, and get a longer summer vacation

ROAD TRIP!!!

azure turtle
03-02-2002, 02:55 PM
Bodacious!! Since I don't get summer break 'til the middle of June. Oh well. At least I'm almost done with my second quarter!
*does happy dance*

Machias Banshee
03-02-2002, 03:04 PM
yeah. we dont actually do a real midterm kind of thing, we just have a test over major points of the class. I gotta get a job during the summer, and make $$$ so i can continue coming to college.

azure turtle
03-02-2002, 03:07 PM
*cringes upon hearing the word 'job'*
Ack, I know whatcha mean. I need to get a job during the summer, too. I think I'm gonna get a job at Borders, so I can be surrounded by books and comics!

Machias Banshee
03-02-2002, 03:22 PM

Skeletoncrew

I almost forgot! In Action Figure Digest the article mentions, "A remake of the original four Turtles has been showing up at KB Toys, Toy Works, and Toy Liquidators this past Christmas season. Could this be a test for a relaunch of the TMNT line at Toy Fair 2002?"

SPEEd
03-03-2002, 08:43 AM
No doubt TMNT are coming back, the is a chance.

azure turtle
03-03-2002, 04:08 PM
SC, that's awesome news!! I seriously need to get new figs of the green teens. All of my action figs show a lot of wear and tear (that's logical, since they've been through so many battles  ) and I would love to have brand new TMNT figures. I hope they release a new toy line soon!

SPEEd
03-04-2002, 06:30 PM
it would be just so coooooooool!

SPEEd
03-04-2002, 06:31 PM

I remember seeing to mip origonal raphaels at kb a few months ago, mebbe thats them! ill check and see if they still have em! oh, and how much did it say the next mutation don, leo, raph, and mike were worth?

Skeletoncrew
03-10-2002, 01:50 PM
NM toys are dirt cheap! $3 loose, $5 MIP, and $6 MOMC.

Kali
03-10-2002, 02:01 PM
Wow, I gotta find some of those! If I didn't have to budget, I'd have them already. The only figures I have are the original turtles, no weapons or belts though, Leo, Raph, and Don. They sit on my TV.

HorseTechie
03-11-2002, 02:27 PM
Awww... no Mike? Isn't it funny how simetimes you don't want to get all four (even if you could).

I had a Mike of the original figures, then I gave him away. Then later I bought a Mike, Raph, and Don of the Movie star ones. Didn't get Leo cause I thought his grin was waaay to cheesy.

In 1997, I got just Raph and Leo of the TNM. I wanted to get Raph's motorcyle, but they were sold out when I started looking for it. Grr...!

Kali
03-11-2002, 02:35 PM
Don't you just hate that? About me having no Mike, I just found these figures when my mom was cleaning out toyboxes. I guess Mike's either still lost or got tossed.

HorseTechie
03-11-2002, 02:44 PM
Bleah...

A year ago, I thought to get Leo just to make my movie set complete. But now finding him is hard, especially when the Smaurai movies versions are in more abundance.

azure turtle
03-13-2002, 07:13 PM
I hear ya, HT. I regret not buying a Splinter, April, or Bebop action fig. My cartoon action figs. collection is incomplete without them

Skeletoncrew
03-14-2002, 03:50 AM
Don't feel too bad Azure. Those figures are all very easy to find.

HorseTechie
03-14-2002, 10:19 AM

azure turtle
03-14-2002, 12:03 PM
I'll definitely look into that after finals because I've been itchin' to complete my collection. But I'm seriously stressed out right now. *le sigh* Can't wait 'til I'm done

HorseTechie

azure turtle
03-14-2002, 06:47 PM
*pats Machias on the back*
It's okay, I'm not getting action figs any time soon. I'd rather concentrate on the comics for now, but I've been saving up to buy some anime DVDs. *le sigh* It would be nice to have a little more money....
*feels the topic of being stinking rich coming back*

Machias Banshee
03-14-2002, 06:56 PM
