When I was still a wee tot, I visited my dad in the US. For my birthday he had a cake made with a ninja turtle on it (I think it was Raph). I didn't like cake but I still wanted it :D

My mom made me a homemade ice cream cake for my 11th b'day, with a sugar icing Donatello on top (he was originally my favorite Turtle):

On my 12th b'day my dad took me, my best friend, and assorted siblings to go see "Secret of the Ooze" (it opened on my b'day). One of my prezzies was one of those super big Ninja Turtle action figures, in Raph. Wish I never got rid of it!

I know Tinny has a turtle cake every year. That's a tradition I should start.:P I don't really have a good story but I had a turtle cake too about 5 years ago. Man I need to have another one, it's been too long.

I don't know if this counts, but I had my birthday parties at Pizza Hut because of their promotions of the turtles. However, I do recall a birthday a few years ago where I had a TMNT cake, along with the whole get-up of napkins, cups, and plates.

Lol...you should have a slightly more superior look on your face to really nail it, though. Nice pink shirt! (and tartan pants...?)

I'd like to post a picture but don't have the technology at the moment; however, I did have a ninja turtles party when i was 6 years old. It had everything: A ninja turtles tablecloth, ninja turtles cups and plates. I wore a ninja turtles t-shirt (the 4 turtles with all 4 of them with the red bandanas), and Michaelangelo came to my party. Oh i also had plastic swords caught from a mardi gras parade so i could pretend I was Leonardo.

I still have my TMNT action figures. They're down in the basement.

I don't have any pictures, but for my third or fourth birthday, my parents got one of those "Ninja Turtle" birthday performers to come. He made ninja weapons out of balloons. At one point, I kicked him in the shin because, you know, Ninja Turtles are supposed to fight, right? He wasn't too happy.

Fine, but Donatello's bandana purple (or red when it comes to the 1984 Mirage comics). And isn't "Cowabunga" with a "c" correct spelling.

Probably didn't have purple coloring on hand. And what's wrong with replacing "C" with a "K"? Hmmm? :P

Cowabunga stems from the word Kowabonga. It was a phrase from an Indian character in the Howdy Doody show that means Bad. The spelling was changed by Australian surfers and Charles M. Shultz was the first to use it.

i had 3 tmnt parties in a row. i think it was 8-10. the first one was the NT. the second was the OT. i wanted the second one to be the NM, but we couldnt find the NM tablecloth on ebay so my mom made it the OT. to make up for it she got me the NM VHS ;). the third onw was the NT. i had a bunch of games planned and my uncles, at the time 11 and 12, kept on messin up the games. they were kool games too. after that, no more parties . im tryna convince my parents to give me a party for my 13th b-day.

I think it was as close to purple as she could get with her food coloring.

Umm, I'm not sure why it's spelled with a K. We must have seen it somewhere like that, or else she just wasn't hep to it.

It was still delicious.

Were these birthdays all TMNT themed or just the cakes?

Wow, your parents spoiled you too much. I sure would have enjoyed a TMNT themed birthday party when I was small. Though, I remember wearing a TMNT T-shirt during grade school plus we had some Turtle merchandise as well.

Jester, my brother still has those little candles, too!

None really for me, but every holiday and birthday in my brother's youth had something turtles. Decorations, cake, presents... It was completely Turtles. :)

Pretty much themed. I think we had a tablecloth, I wore a T-shirt, and the cake was TMNT. And of course there were some Turtle prezzies. My family was never big on the cone hats or noisemakers, though. We went to see Ooze on my 12th b'day, too. A capella!

My co workers threw me a surprise birthday party at office this year (although I kinda knew what they were up to, since they were totally suspicious-looking ) What I didn't expect was it to be TMNT/turtles themed. The cake had the TMNT drawn on it, with the Mcdonald's toy figures standing on top, lol. I got the 2007 movie DVD, a silver turtle pendant and a mug with an adorable turtle print. :D It was awesome! (too bad I left that job a month later )

Did they sing some TMNT theme song too instead of "Happy Birthday to You"?
