I was finishing up season 6 last night and in the episode "Snakes Alive" The main bad guy dude looks like he may have been based on the toy scale tail... was this on purpose?

Also does wyrm or groundchuck ever make it in the toon?

Not to mention did that last episode of season six not realy feel like a season closer???

Not too sure (if the guy in "Snakes Alive" has any kind of connections to the Scale Tail toy).

But Groundchuck does make an appearence in Classic TMNT toon. In the yet-to-be-put-on-DVD "Planet of the Turtloids" 2-Parter (partnered with Dirtbag).

Yea, it has been at least 15 years since I have seen any of the classic TMNT cartoons but I definitely do remember seeing Groundchuck in an episode or two.

I know Wyrm was in the Archie comics...a lot of the toys that never made the show wound up there like Ray Man.

Well... Ray Fillet from the toyline, Man Ray from Archie TMNT, and Ray from Classic TMNT cartoon's "Rebel Without a Fin" are all based on the same character.

Also, like the Classic TMNT toon had characters exclusive to it, same was true for Archie TMNT and the toyline.

I love the connections between the toy line and cartoon. The reason I asked about Wyrm is because there is animation of him in the commercial I think.

I hate when people mention Ray from Rebel Without a Fin as Ray Fillet/Man because he's not the same character. He looks and acts nothing like Ray the toy or comic character.

This was brought up before, and at least one other board member (apparently with knowledge on it) said that Ray is a variation on Ray Fillet/Man Ray. Heck, even back when the episode aired on TV I had a feeling of that being the case.
