there is a slit in the underside of the tail this is where the wee and poo come out of, trust me they do wee.

With the exception of Ren and Stimpy and Family Guy characters, I doubt any cartoon uses a toilet.
That said... would the TMNT just run over to any place in the sewer and let it out? I mean, they live in the stuff...

I try to think of them tromping about in storm drains, rather that sewers full o' feces. It makes it happier in my brain to do so. And, I don't gag when watching the April rescue scenes.
Perhaps we should ask Buslady for the final word on the elimination habits of turtles?
OR, how 'bout this: how did the actors inside the Turtle suits for the first 3 movies go to the loo? I'm sure they didn't unsuit for every potty break.

When they mutated they gained a special compartment in their shells that works similar to how you'd empty a bagless vaccuum cleaner. Its very clean.

They have cloacas in their little stumpy tails that do not really show in the cartoons but are still there.
And I do not know if the best receptacles for them would resemble urinals or toilets.
Since I have only owned female mice, I do not know how male rats would urinate- if they lift a leg like male dogs do.

Argh, I can't find the cliip I want to add to this. It's the Family Guy clip where Peter goes to the bathroom in the suit of whatever job he's working (the sequence goes thru fireman, and a few others) all because "the astronauts do it in the their suits". Then he becomes an astronaut and gets sucked into space lol.

I like to think the turtles live in the drainage tunnels as well instead of the sewers, it keeps my sanity better. As for how the turtles go to the bathroom? Wouldn't they pee standing up just like any other male? :-? I don't really get the debate here. :ohwell:

Turtles eliminate and reproduce with the cloaca as I said. Their tools are only for reproduction, not for elimination. Which is why some males who must have it removed can still eliminate. This happens sometimes, sadly.

I was talking about the turtles in the 2k3 series, and so far none of them have done the nasty with any one. So unless Raph got his freak on with Joi under the tribunals noses on that flying dragon ship of theirs, than I don't think they will ever get to. :evilgrin:
