I'll be encoding tommorow's episode, since no one else seems to be encoding this series. Has it been put out on dvd or something?
Anyways, I'll encode it, and if I can ever find out a way to see the old episodes, I'll encode those as well.
If anyone has any information about this, please reply!
Oh yea, to those who thought my encodes were "crappy" i've gotten the ati tv wonder card to work, and the encode quality looks much better :)

Ultimate Muscle is okay but the dubb is pretty bad, but not nearly is bad as Ultraman Tiga's, Japan's equivelent to Superman deserves better.

Anyone else seen the Ultimate Muscle toys? They look pretty good but unfortuantely they aren't selling well at all.

Yeah most american anime dubs are usually bad, and i dont only mean bad acting.
But i cant find any kinikkuman sub so this will have to do :P
As for ultraman...first time i saw it i thought it was cheesy, which was unfair judging the year it was made, but kinda interesting too...i havent seen the toys, i might search for more info about em later.

I'm seriously enjoying the series. I watched on against my better judement first the first while. Until Kid Muscle faced King Muscle. I laughed so hard at the episode. Since then I've watched it every weekend. As for the toys they look super cool, but they sell for 12.99 cdn up here, and that's quite pricey for an action figure. Especially since most cost anywhere from 7 to 9 bucks.

did anyone see the commercial where kid muscle and his trainer (forgot his name) were talking about the tmnt. That was funny. There are 4 turtles, yea but there's 2 shows! or w/e
:)

I saw that commercial. It was pretty funny.

I've only seen bits of Ultimate Muscle before TMNT, but it doesn't look too bad.

I tried not to watch it....but then it got interesting, and besides it takes up the time to The new TMNT, so.....you know......

though I'm in the middle of deciding weather I like it or not, I must say I don't like the way Kid muscle acts some time.....but thats because I'm into the more serious types of heros... and that fraidy cat act isn't too appealing...........but I have to admit it is pretty hilarious at times

Anyone who thinks that the old TMNT cartoon was childish should see this show. I mean the old TMNT never pissed themselves or farted in public.

I've it a couple of times. It's really funny. I was wondering, is the older Kinikkuman manga anything like Ultimate Muscle? I'd never heard of it until I read an article about it in Shonen Jump.

Cowboy Bebop has the best dubb ever in my opinion. Big O's dubb is great too (They were both done by the same company)

Did you know that there was a successful line of toys in America during the 80's called M.U.S.C.L.E. which was based on the original Kinnikuman cartoon.

Ok, I admit...I collected the little pink M.U.S.C.L.E. men(one of many fine Japanese toys that made its way stateside) but this new Ultimate Muscle show...oh man. If hammer to the head idiocy and fart finishing moves are your cup of tea...Again, this is a prime example why anime gets a bad name from folks(this, and every other UHF network channel kiddy anime)

Thank goodness for Cartoon Network showing Cowboy Bebop, Gundam series, Trigun, .hack//SIGN, and FINALLY later today...Neon Genesis Evangelion!

Those shows ain't that great. I tried to watch some of that stuff the other day, I nearly kicked my TV screen in after seeing about 4 minutes of some terrible excuse for animation called Lupin the 3rd. :dead:

Yeah, I thought Lupin the 3rd sucked 20 years ago when I saw it. I was talking about MODERN cool anime, not that old junk.
*Once again, crappy anime giving the epic state of the art anime a bad name. Click on www.theanimatrix.com and then tell us what you think*

I think Anime is just terrible anyways. The only type of anime I've enjoyed has been this show and Digimon. Now I know someone is going to fly off the handle and tell me to watch some real anime, but my point is I don't like it. I find it stupid and I feel that FOX has been completely taken over by anime style animation on sat morning. There are many better forms of animation imo. I'd rather watch SpongeBob Square Pants than any of these "good" animes.

oooh, I love Lupin 3rd! it's just so funny and old school, i get a kick out of that style. i like anime a lot, although i'm not too fond of ultimate muscle or DBZ. they just don't strike me as very artistically interesting.

I guess alot of people don't like anime and I guess maybe it's because it's so different for their usual cartoons, but some people like me, who grew up in the Cartoon Network Generation grew up with Speed Racer, G-Force, Voltron, and that fairy tale show that came on Nickolodeon. Well, to each his own.

(Hums Speed Racer theme)

Cartoon Network generation? When I first got that channel they showed nothing but Josie and Pussycats, The Super Friends, and other Hanna Barbera toons from the 60s. They didn't start to show any of that Japanese junk until they started Toonami, except for Speed Racer which was already on. Even on the original Toonami they showed Johnny Quest and the old Space Ghost, and a very little bit of anime. Now the channel is 70% anime garbage.
